Trying to d/load files from this site with Chrome with adblock disabled & Windows 10 & I can't get Fichier to give me the file. Any Help, please?

also I started to get the fake "you must call us @ 800 # @ some place trying to get my money, using Firefox. Was this hijacker on Fichier site or in my computer. I deleter Firefox recently because of this. I wasn't using adblock on firefox. Any Help?

You can install Opera browser without addons, it should work just fine for almost everyone, or you can use a downloadmanager like Jdownloader.

Not the greatest advice ever, but what I do is to close the new windows when they launch. But I don't think I have got a "call this number" one since I've stop using Edge...

It is a different looking Microsoft screen that has come up on different d/L's from Fichier of lately, while I was using Firefox (latest version) with no adblock enabled. It would lock up my computer until I disabled Firefox and restart my computer.

This "Microsoft" screen has audio and similar "Microsoft" signage and a recording that "we are going to freeze your bank accounts, etc....unless I call this phone number and I could not just close the window. I ended up restarting the computer. And finally removing Firefox from my computer since last week & have not reinstalled Firefox since. Ran Windows Defender and it did not come up as a problem.
