Meanwhile he has got upto-speed

A film every few weeks.

Enough time to read / study / develope character / understand character that some writer sweated blood on developimg / follow a director.. Cage can do it in a couple of weeks

From an Elvis-Clone, he has become a John Wayne-Clone....

Before Christopher Nolan came along I never took any of the superhero genre films seriously. They were pretty flimsy vehicles lacking for me any depth to the chief protagonist and their motivations or any other existential meaning.

The Batman movies with Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer for instance. I only kept Batman Returns because of Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman.

Some of the Italian giallo films too. No logic at all, terrible scripting and dubbing and a huge amount of completely absent logic or realism.

I just don't get Diane Keaton. For me, she was an embarassment in the Godfather trilogy. Totally wooden and unbelievable. Seen more sincerity and animation from a turtle, AND they're better looking...

I know this is slightly off topic, but I personally, I LOVE anything Sam Spade has been in. I think he's a friggin' AWESOME actor (and should be Prime Minister too)
