Maybe he's a bit like me, and was surprised to find that Puddles 11/12/13 was running an hour late. He may not have had the choice to switch back to England Uber Alles, as I had, ho-hum. Have to say though, it looks like a shite film, thus far.

Been a while since I saw one of the last great 90ies movie: Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas. This is one of the few movies where I think Johnny Depp was good, besides Gilbert Grape, Dead Man and Donnie Brasco. But Hunter S. Thompson is the man.

I think it's called "suspension of disbelief", GS. I'll tip a few beers and try watching it.

I watched Milk last night. not really my cup of tea (no pun intended), but it's pretty
rare that I'm not impressed with a Sean Penn acting performance. a rather compelling
story based on the life of gay rights activist and politician Harvey Milk. like him or not,
Mr. Penn can act! he was good in "All the King's Men" too, which I watched last week.

Default Football is a universal language.Africa United.

Just watched this with Mrs Sid. and her sister and we all enjoyed it.

It doesn't hold back on some of the problems that Africa has, but it shows them and the kids kickin' back against a 'sea of troubles'. You would have to have a cold, cold heart not to root for them.

The only annoying thing was.. one of them was wearing an Arsenal shirt. Grrrr.

Don`t want to give anything away but the ending is pretty stupid just like the whole movie , and makes no sense given what the big D was able to do earlier throughout the film

I`d be almost tempted to watch the beginning again just to reaffirm what little sense the ending makes.

Guess they thought it was a brilliantly ironic twist

It wasn`t

Very bleached out look to it as well .

Well done that man. I couldn't last an hour; this film is fcuking rubbish. I like Denzel in most things, but this is fcuking rubbish.

Just finished watching this again, away on down the dial. Excellent, as always. However, I don't tend to swallow the "Greatest movie of all time", hype. It's a very good film; but it's still a tale of ordinary madness. A tough guy, but an arse.
