Aha! Well, if you believe everything the government & media tell you -- such as "Saddam is out to get you, and can do it in 45 minutes", or the present crap you're being fed at the moment -- seriously, it really is your problem

But actually, there are no Russian sea snakes that I've heard of. There's plenty of wildlife, such as bears and wolves, not to mention tigers in some places, that can kill you much faster than Saddam or even Australia's feared snakes. And you have no chance of out-running or outfighting any of them (without a powerful firearm). Luckily, attacks on humans are rare

Kevin here. I hope no one took offense at my post this morning. It's all in fun. I usually only post in this thread when Estreeter is here so he will comment on it and this usually elicits posts from other Australian and other members.

I once said before and I will say it again. I have the deepest respect and even affection for all members on our wonderful forum, and respect for all the nationalities that are represented on the forum.

When I see a big spider outside I leave it alone, but if I find one in my flat I kill the sucker. Otherwise there might be hundreds of babies in just a few days all over the place.
