Some Dream of Ice Cream, and Others Dream of Access to Atwell at Will
.
..... Naturally, the first image is helped by make-up, but it is the kind that forces a double-take. This late-2022 Instagram photo was one among three that was put up by Member "JasonTodd" in 2022's Post # 271. The second photo exhibited the lady in very sweet form, emanating from a 2022 post by Silicone Carne, in the "Named Perfect Smile Stunning Eyed Female Of The Day" thread. EDIT: Gwhh had put the 2nd one up in 2023. Web travels led to this: At first, I thought it was meant to simulate a 1940s movie poster, which was an attraction. (I'm a fan of illustrations serving as publicity for films, sadly deemed to be old hat.) The pictured woman was wonderful-looking as well; beautiful (of course), and also hinting at a tough aura that seemed believable. My curiosity got aroused, and after learning the lady was Hayley Atwell, I asked, who's that? Giving an eye to her IMDb filmography made me realize that I've seen a number of her titles, but she was another actress who hadn't registered. A closer look made me notice that "movie poster" was instead meant to be a comic book cover. The fact that I was a devoted comic book fan (with a special appreciation for Marvel comics) has little to do with my growing distaste for the deluge of comic book movies from Hollywood. For example, I have caught many of the Avengers and Captain America films that came across as Hayley's primary claim to fame (her last was 2022's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where she played Carter again), but these movies have a tendency to blur into one another, and sometimes it becomes hard to tell them apart. (In addition, the way in which newer generation filmmakers think they are improving on iconic formulas does not help; give me the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies any day.) Carter is up against office sexism and her chauvinist boss (Bradley Whitford) refuses to send her out into the field. She then takes it upon herself to go after dangerous villains, who won't know what hit them. It was easy to see Hayley played the girl of Captain America (in his civilian alter ego), and I'm sure when I watched those films she had made a good impression — but I had no recollection of this actress. The "poster" above illustrated a fifteen-minute short film called Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter (2013), available online in outlets as YouTube; I was startled to see how the production values were top-notch (it's a period piece, given the post-WWII setting, and thus expensive to produce), and I wondered why they would have invested so much for a movie that probably was not going to generate much income (later learning this short must have served as a sort-of pilot for a 2015-2016 series that followed, Agent Carter). One of the bad guys is the hulking figure above, whom she spends two minutes dispatching away with. The way she does this was in the exact way Sean Connery turned the tables on Robert Shaw, and what I couldn't figure out is how Carter could have known about this method, since FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE wouldn't be made for another twenty years. What surprised me as I watched was that Carter had an English accent (Capt. America was never my favorite, and I didn't know whether she was originally a Brit; a check suggests she made her first comic book appearance in 1966, and hailed from Virginia, USA), which seemed out-of-place; she works for the U.S. government, she's the girlfriend of a guy who's got red, white and blue all over him, so I figured her character would have personified a "patriotic American." Soon afterwards, I learned Hayley herself is British (as far as being born and raised in the U.K.; her dad is part-American Indian and, interestingly, also a shaman), which is probably why the character's national origin was changed. Yet as may be read directly below, the actress has no problem with passing herself off as an American. (From her IMDb bio's "trivia" section: "Admits that the toughest word to pronounce with an American accent is 'murderer.' Brits tend to soften the letter 'R' as in 'muh-d'ruh.'") ..... Hayley starred in a short-lived 2016-2017 TV series called CONVICTION, as soon as her AGENT CARTER show ended. She played an attorney caught up in scandal, which leads the D.A. to coerce her into heading a conviction integrity unit that capitalizes on her status as a former President's daughter; the sneaky prosecutor's political career may benefit. Bottom row of images here are from the show's IMDb page's trailer, where Hayley managed a perfect American accent, which so many actors from the CANZUC nations ruled or once ruled by the British crown can maddeningly pull off. First photo above is from Sven Frenzel, and the first two photos are from the "The 1% Solution" episode, while the third photo above is from "Dropping Bombs." Below are frame grabs from an episode where it looks like the D.A. had a firm "conviction" that he would succeed with getting into our lady's pants. Putting attorney-client privileges aside, he got attorney-attorney privilege, while the rest of us got waylaid in the cold. The reason I am here is because I conducted a VEF search to see when, if ever, Hayley showed off her Comet. (I am so shallow. Oh, don't pretend you're different.) I felt like summarizing the best examples of her exposed state, while pointing to what other members have come up with over the years (this thread began in 2011 with a lovely post from Member "Hank66," who is still showing up now and then), making sure to rework all past images (especially the darker ones where the details can't easily be made out). Here's something that got my notice, from the charmingly titled "Women who owe it to Mankind to get their Boobs Out" thread: Quote:
This reworked image comes from 2020's Post #208, courtesy of laconic Member "The Abstract" (he doesn't post much, but when he does, it's a doozy), including a few other shots described as leaks. Now of course, we are grateful for this intimate peek at prime loveliness, since voyeurism trumps morality, and we are all partners-in-crime in tandem with the scumbag who trampled on the lady's privacy. If you look at the top three posts above, while the source of the shots have not been identified, there are other examples of what appear to be leaks. Yet if Hayley has been victimized in a prior episode, you'd think she would swear off taking secret nude shots of herself; could these newer poses have been deliberate? (Sometimes actresses have been known to engage in such practices to stir interest, but then there are indications she's not too superficial.) LATER: Chanced upon one of the photos from top of page; described as "2018 leak." Before we turn to crass objectification, however, a brief look-see at what makes Hayley (said to have been named after actress Hayley Mills) the person that she is. Blocked! Member "Vicc" offered this thread's rare article in Post #174: The "funny, warm and direct" "Marvel Universe star" reveals her "rebellious streak." When people say she's shy, she gets loud; when people say she's confident, she squeaks, "I'm reeeally vul-ner-a-ble." Her parents were "New Age-loving bohemians," but the marriage was over after she turned five (and her dad, whom she would stay with in Missouri during the summers, returned to the USA). Her fate was to be raised in London's social housing — which is what led to her sense of social consciousness. She is further described as a "shy, sensitive, introverted child to whom acting was a joyful means of escape." This other article from last year also sheds some light on her character in that she reversed course on how ten years earlier she had described her mental state as "dead... so depressed." While going through the thread, I ran into the first inkling of what is now the golden fleece (based on that "007" photo from above), Hayley's upper lady parts in the raw (which happened to be presented by one of my favorite VEF members, the now-sadly-inactive "Mr. Bond," back in the thread's fifth post from 2011): This is from The Pillars of the Earth (2010), a mini-series about 1100s England at the outset of or during a civil war, and based on the popular 1989 novel exploring themes of lust, revenge, and triumph; Hayley appeared in all eight episodes as the daughter of Donald Sutherland, fighting the forces who wish to take their land, and she must have done a good job, having been nominated for a Golden Globe. From THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH; Eddie Redmayne, pictured, played her lover. It turned out this was the only time on screen (as far as I've determined) where such monumental mammaries materialized (sadly, only for a fleeting frame or two), and the reason I wanted to create a post here was because Mr Bond's shot was too dark and I wanted to fix it. Yet a few pages later, I noticed Member "Cueking" had fixed this photo, in his Post #24 from 2012. As I continued the thread-odyssey, others covered the same turf (Hefestus came up with the clearest views, in his Post #191 from 2019). Regardless, I took a stab at treating this money shot (making use of a Hefestus photo): I suppose Ms. Atwell reckoned this mini-series would prove to be an important showcase leading to a step up the acting pecking order, so she consented to more exposure (including, bless her, the backside): First from Hefestus' #119, second from Supers992's Post #38, 2013. First two from Supers992's Post #38, third from Hefestus' #119. Third one from Supers992's Post #38, and the rest from Hefestus' #119. Ms. Atwell has been quoted as refreshingly stating, "Nude scenes can be very liberating. I feel very human. This is me, with all my little imperfections." That is wonderful (and it's to her credit to have loosened up, if the claim from the article above was the case, that she was a shy one while growing up), but what a pity she hasn't done more such scenes without the obligatory modesty (what may be expected in contemporary films and TV shows). A rundown of some other times she has agreed to go uncovered is below. Supers992, whose photo is last, kindly posted a few other "nude" scenes on page 3, for two titles from 2012, FALCON (Post #25) and RESTLESS (Post #28). They are all equally non-revealing and disappointing as the one seen above, from BRIDESHEAD REVISITED. Brideshead Revisited was a heralded TV mini-series in 1981, and was adapted into a feature film in 2008, starring the enchanting Emma Thompson. This was an important early role for the actress (she had only begun her screen career three years prior, and landed this fat part at the age of twenty-six; she has been quoted as saying, "one job just seemed to roll onto the next. I've been terribly lucky"), and she was required to take part in a sex scene. In this love story where the hero (Matthew Goode, at left in second photo above) is stationed at Brideshead during WWII, he evidently falls in love (but in a not overtly sexual way?) with a member of a wealthy and influential family, the son (Ben Whishaw, at right), and then the daughter (our gal) steals his heart. You can get a taste of Hayley's nude scene, if you can call it that, from one of Supers992's photos (reworked, again, as with the rest) from his Post #27, shown last (above). ANY HUMAN HEART Hayley was in all four episodes of the 2010 TV mini-series Any Human Heart, exploring the decades of a novelist's life as he meets fictionalized true historical figures; she played the love of his life. The actress took off her clothes, but didn't show anything. The photos seen above came from Supers992's Post #37, back in 2013. (He graciously provided a link to a clip, which has gone dead.) Yes, there is side breast, but with breasts as hers, side dishes are not good enough; all clamor for the main course. BLACK MIRROR In the article from above, she went out of her way to get cast in the 2013 episode of "Be Right Back" that opened the second season of Black Mirror (which the article's author wrote was "one of the most talked-about episodes" of the show). She was quoted as saying, "I begged to do that - I'm such a huge fan." Her lover (Domhnall Gleeson, seen in middle photo) dies, but she runs into software that emulates him, and they begin chatting online. The viewers were at least treated to her magnificent cleavage. Last photo above is from Supers992's Post #35, 2013; he kindly offered two other shadowy photos that would similarly benefit from being treated. What's above, from Ball7's 2022 post, sure caught my attention; she's got it, and she flaunted it. Yet where did this flaunting take place? An image search finally netted the answer (this rival forum provided the key). Turned out to be the August 2011 edition of Esquire magazine, and as the image has been reproduced throughout the web (mostly without identification), I found one without the markings from what is above (although what is above turned out to have better clarity). I also found a fuller version: Only after subsequent perusals of this thread did I discover that at bottom of the first page, now-M.I.A. Member "KA" had revealed the source in 2010. Our friend from Estonia also provided the article, which I wish I had read at the outset; it's very entertaining. She talks about how female dogs get periods (did you know that?), and when the he-man star of CAPTAIN AMERICA took off his shirt, she "instinctively grabbed his man boob." The director must have liked it, because she was instructed to keep her hand on his pec throughout the scene. Also: Member "Movieman88" presented some of these images in his Post #320 from a couple of months ago. The three photos from below also attracted my attention, while on the path to fetching the most nude and sexiest views. The first one is from Ball7's Post #183, which he described as a "leaked Dubsmash video where she slightly exposes her boob" (well, that was slight, all right..! Yet in the case of these breasts, we'll take what we can get. In case you are as ignorant as I, Dubsmash was a forerunner of TikTok before Reddit acquired it, and shut it down). Ball7 also put up a photo where the actress looked especially lovely, in his Post #264. The middle photo is from VEF's terrific member, Spargel, from 2022's Post #252. (Women in compromising positions can be irresistible; Spargel's description read, "The Man of Mode - Promo Shoot." This was a 2004 London play she was in, at the age of twenty-four.) The last photo was one among eight from Cueking, in his Post #22 from 2012; The tease nudity is described as "Jillian Edelstein PS, 2007." (I don't know what "PS" means, but Edelstein turned out to be a shutterbug from South Africa.) Hayley Atwell recently appeared as leading lady in the blockbuster movie with Tom Cruise, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023); she played a master thief who is the latest addition to the mission team, evidently filling the shoes of Cruise's character's love from the franchise, Rebecca Ferguson (of whom I composed this post). EDIT: See also Movieman88's M.I. captures from last year's Post #305. In the last, the two stars attend the global premiere of the film. . Last edited by Findcandor; February 25th, 2024 at 04:59 PM..
