I'm usually ok on quotes but I can't find the one I want for "references".

So, it came from some part of a never-ending autobiography of
Maureen Lipmans. Can't remember which part ..sorry.

Maureen Lipman - a brilliant and beautiful and witty and intelligent woman _ had a few good years with work and was inundated with scripts, for TV mainly.
Her late-husband Jack Rosenthal - a true UK writer legend - explained to her that she was a MILF. She thought this meant a jewish mother who was a widow - for some reason, and had elderly admirers...huh?.... and so passed on her scripts to Lesley, a true close friend, mainly because she had just signed up for her dozens of TV commercials as "BT" (Beatie) for the newly privatised British Telecom.

Lesley knew what a MILF was and powered ahead.

Later, Maureen said that Lesley sent her scripts

It's in one of her books, but don't know which one.

Maureen wasn't naive in the main, she was very, very risque at times.
I just want her and Lesley, to get through this awful 2016, because so many beautiful women have been lost to us.
