Is it just me that if I had a food allergy that might kill me I would not eat a mouthful I had not prepared myself. Is a food safe? By all means ask a minimum wage peon with no idea and no notion of caring if something might kill you. And even if he does care and does know what about the packing, processing or manufacturing plants; nothing could ever go wrong there, could it?
There were three deaths in the last couple of years, and tragic though they may be, it was down to the labelling on food missing out a tiny contaminant or minor ingredient.
If food can kill you why risk it?
