Avidemux problem
My old reliable Avidemux 2.5.6 started acting up on me today so I downloaded the newer 2.6.7, but a problem surfaced right after I installed it. The window chops off the bottom of the video, which apparently has to do with the "frame type" (see circled):
This is before I do any work on it (before I look at the preview window of what I expect the finished product to look like). I've looked for an adjustment but can't find one. Is this something I should've set in the initial set-up? Using Windows7. Btw, the initial problem with the older version was I'd set up all the specs for an encode and when I'd hit Save it would say some ridiculously long amount of time to finish, like several hundred minutes for a 5 mins vid, when it normally takes real time (five mins for a five min encode). And it was working fine just two weeks ago. Any ideas? About either problem? TIA |

Ok, I've sort of figured this out.
I changed the View option to Zoom 1:2 which gives me a smaller picture to work with but at least I can see the entire frame.
