US actor Jason Lee named His son Pilot Inspektor.Nicholas Cage named His Kal El and David Duchovny's child is called....Kyd.

Nic Cage naming his kid Kal-El?

How about Gwyneth Paltrow naming her kid Apple?

Maybe Jason Lee naming his kid Pilot Inspektor? (and that is the correct spelling)

Those are the first three that come to my mind although Bono, Edge, Frank Zappa, and a host of other celebrities' kids are out there.

Mal posted two of these before me, I wish I could say great minds thinking alike but I wouldn't put myself in the great mind category.

I had a friend at school whose name was Cervelle
(Brain), with the same spelling,
which is the parent did not find anything better than the surnamed Claire (clear),
I'm serious.
I said that sometimes there to kick ass that should be distributed

the girl lived in a hell school .

A few years back a friend of mine named his daughter Mandolin. He was inspired by the song Mandolin Wind by Rod Stewart.

Another friend that is an elementary school teacher has told me there are much worse names out there.

Jermaine Jackson named one of his sons Jermajesty.

I believe he's also changed the spelling of his last name to Jacksun, for some reason.

And of course His late brother named two of His offspring "Michael" but one was usually known as "Blanket".

possibly after their favourite band & restaurant ?

George Foreman named his children George

all 10 of them.., including the girls

That awful Paltrow actress & that Coldplay git call their kid Apple

could have been worse I suppose , it might have been i-pod.
