The "foot-popping" kiss

That's the name Anne Hathaway gave it in her 2001 movie, "The Princess Diaries". It's that thing where, during a passionate smooch, the girl lifts her foot (canonically clad in a sexy high-heeled shoe) off the floor, up to knee height or sometimes beyond depending on the intensity of the kiss. It was a frequent scene in old movies, especially romantic comedies, where the filmmakers wanted to show off the female romantic lead's legs and telegraph that she was really turned on by the guy she was kissing.

As it happens, there have been a couple of examples in porn films too! First, here are several shots from Laurie Smith's scene with Paul Thomas in "I Want To Be Bad":
