I saw Erin Moran outside of Happy Days in an episode of 'Diagnosis, Murder' along with her ex-Happy Days cohort, Donny Most(Ralph Malph) but I had no idea she had fallen on such hard times. It is said that along with others she sued the television company for loss of money made on merchandising but ended up living in a trailer park. A sad end to what had been a promising career.

I don't know how many comments I've read about her in the last few days, saying she probably died from drugs. Worse part of it is, now that the truth has come out, all those people making those comments, likely don't feel the least bit remorseful for making them.
Here is what I said regarding the report about a heroin overdose causing her death.

I bolded the last part to show that I was waiting for the tox screen to help tell us if she was using. One question I do have is she was going through stage 4 cancer and she was not taking any drugs? Strong woman. I hope she did not deny herself comfort on the account of her past issues.

God Bless
The Sci Fi film was called "Galaxy of Terror". She played astronaut with a group exploring a building on a distant planet. The building used the fears of the astronauts to kill them. Erin was claustrophobic and was in a tube when she was attacked by wires which mummified her and cut her head in two. I borrowed it from a video store years ago.

Default Robert Pirsig, Author Of ‘Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance

Robert M. Pirsig, author of the influential 1970s philosophical novel “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance,” died on Monday at the age of 88, his publisher said.

William Morrow & Co. executive editor Peter Hubbard said in a statement that Pirsig’s wife Wendy had confirmed his death at his home in Maine “after a period of failing health.”

Published in 1974 after being rejected by more than 100 other publishers, “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance,” was the father-son story of a motorcycle trip across the western United States. Loosely autobiographical, it also contained flashbacks to a period in which the author was diagnosed as schizophrenic.

The book quickly became a best-seller. Pirsig said its protagonist “set out to resolve the conflict between classic values that create machinery, such as a motorcycle, and romantic values, such as experiencing the beauty of a country road.”

Born in Minneapolis, Pirsig had a high IQ and graduated high school at the age of 15. He earned a degree in philosophy and also worked as a technical writer and instructor of English before being hospitalized for mental illness in the early 1960s.

His philosophical thinking and personal experiences during these years, including a 1968 motorcycle trip across the U.S. West with his eldest son, Christopher, formed the core of the narrative of the novel.

Pirsig worked on the sequel, “Lila: An Inquiry into Morals” for 17 years before its publication in 1991. The story traced a sailboat journey taken by two fictitious characters along America’s eastern coast.

Pirsig lived the last 30 years in South Berwick, Maine and is survived by his wife Wendy, two children and three grandchildren. His son Chris died in 1979.

Allan Holdsworth was not just another great guitar player. He changed the approach to this instrument like no other musician in the past 50 years. For me personally, Allan Holdsworth and Shawn Lane were the greatest guitar players in fusion and rock music of all time. Allan played with so many great musicians during his long path: Soft Machine, Jean-Luc Ponty, Tony Williams, U.K., Ian Carr's Nucleus, Bill Bruford and many more. But he always did his own thing and was never a mere hired gun. He was an influence and inspiration to all his colleagues.

The cause of his death is still unknown but he didn't look healthy in the most recent videos I've seen. It was Allan's daughter Louise who informed the public of his passing and can be read here.

Rest in Peace, Allan. I've listen to your music for so many times that it feels like I lost a family member. You were a hero and inspiration to many.
Well said. I've been a fan for nearly 3 decades. I originally joined the Unreal Allan Holdsworth group on FB because I was fan for so long and also to interact with the pretty Holdsworth girls. I didn't have any idea he was in such poor health, and I also couldn't have possibly anticipated how hard I would take the death of this gentle man.

The day after he died, I donated to the fundraiser and then, two days later, I donated again. I also bought a Kiesel HH2X.

If you're on FB, can I suggest you join the group "the Unreal Allan Holdsworth"?

Thanks again for your tribute to this genius.

I've been a member of that group for a few years myself. It was heart-breaking to read that a musical genius like himself died broke.

I'm going to try my best to attend the public memorial. I'm actually in a hotel room in Florida right now with my plans for the next week on hold because I'm waiting for an announcement from one of the moderators, one of the Holdsworth girls, or from Jeff Kiesel (who, as I understand it, is organizing the event).

Will you be attending?

I guess the memorial will be held in California where Allan lived. I'd love to attend but I live in Austria.
