It's truly disgusting the way the gun control crowd has commandeered the Parkland shooting to suit their end. Someone in another forum was talking about how the young people are organizing. Bullshit. Most of my peers had the same ideas.

Pretending that a 17-18 year old can have a coherent political thought is... just plain pretentious beyond belief.

A group of students at a Central Florida high school walked out of class Friday as part of a protest in support of the Second Amendment.

Much like the recent school shooter in Maryland who was stopped dead in his tracks (pun intended) by an armed SRO, these stories get little or no ink from CNN because they do not support their narrative. At least CNN had the balls to admit and print that 17 people died at Parkland partly due to the fact that Parkland's SRO was a gutless pussy.

It's at least as sinister as Trump wanting to have a dictator style military parade in Washington in his "honor".

This is the second hysterical movement taking place after Trump's victory with murky origins, the first being the #MeToo movement.

It's like somebody is pulling out all the stops in face of a surprise cultural reversal with Trump's election. They really, REALLY wanted it to be the "other way".

In my experience, the women I know, IRL, who are the most virulently #MeToo, should consider themselves lucky that anything with a penis would want to Metoo them.

I have seen fat ugly women going around like that, i.e. "men are such perverts, don't look at me", and it's funny as fuck, but I've also known a few really good looking chicks who get really fed up with being casually "objectified" on a regular basis.

To be fair Parkland DID get a bunch more coverage than the other incident. But then more people died so it is more newsworthy. If it bleeds, it leads.

That always introduces a natural slant to things. How many terrorist attacks WERE prevented before 9/11? How many can you name?

The good guys stopping something bad before it happens doesn't get noticed. When the bad guys get through and commit mayhem it's tears, horror and 72 point headlines.
