I rather like the garden burger. It isn't really a burger, but a different experience. Turkey burgers are rather a waste; very bland. These impossible burgers are available near me. I'll check one out and report back. Please note that this is taking one for the team as these restaurants are snooty, overpriced places.

During the report, I heard that the price of the Burger, that looked like a McDonald Royal Deluxe burger was about 16 US$...
But surely with fried potatoes and lettuce or tomato salad and a drink.

I don't know how much do you pay for a nice hamburger in the US.

I never was in the US, but my brother, who travelled several time in your country, told me that meal prices are unbelievable cheap and.... quantities are huuuuuggggeee .

For sure the price risks to be expensive, because that's the beginning of a new market.... and.... meat producers are probably subventionned by the state like here in Europe.

I hope that will taste as good as a real meat burger and will be a huge success.
Because I've watched yesterday how were treated pigs in Switzerland in a farm... that was absolutely disgusting. Tails eaten by their pigs neighbour, living in the total darkness, extremely small areas to live one on another, with a cadaver in one box. Arffff. Like in Auschwitz but with a meal (of relatively poor quality) everyday.
Pigs are able to solve more complicated problems than dogs, but they don't get a nice fur.

I admit to a bias. My eldest daughter is gay and I will always remember how relieved she was when she came out to her mum and I, only to discover that we already knew and it made fuck-all difference.

I've posted about this on the forum a few times in other threads.
One of my closest and oldest from childhood mates is Gay, he even calls himself as an Old Poof. Apart from his obsession with being overly clean there is no way anyone would pick him as gay. Going to the Mardi Gras or being an activist and so on just isn't his style, nope he just goes about his daily life like anyone else would and makes no big deal that he's gay. N I'll call him, N still lives in Geelong and about the only Gay thing he does is once in a while he'll visit a Gay pub, cafe or whatever in Melbourne. N has asked us other mates form his childhood to go along, way back he'd not have asked us to go to a Gay Nightclub as he knows and it would be over the top for the rest of us, but just a known pub or cafe isn't, so we have been and it's not what straight people expect. I never felt uncomfortable, there's Males and Females there and quite frankly there were members of both sexes there who you wouldn't know if they were gay or not. People tend to forget, Gay men don't hit on non Gay men ... so my hairy ass was safe
