Considering you can enter , look & leave a thread in seconds
its a lot of work for not that much gain

In lieu of every models thread having a popup picture when you hover over it

Get the starters to put a brief detailed description in the first 2-4 lines
so those who hover over a models thread name can get a fairly good idea of what their likely to find inside - max 120 characters shows up

Trouble with almost any change is to make them effective they have to be
retrospective and they have to be done largely without increasing the workload on the Admin/Mods - hence why most suggestions never become realised imho

I love this forum, glad im finally using it in the best way, the general discussion forum is what I like the most because it's where we all interact and discuss or exchange our opinions. I also like how willing everyone is to help out with stuff and the content is crazy good.

The reason their is never going to be any is the Mods would be required to enforce them
Time wasted explaining new rules = unwanted work

Unless the gain is significant hard to see image posts going the way of clips/films
where everything is made transparent because of the attention to detail thats required

Watching the friction generated by a whole range of issues over the years it makes me wonder

Whether some basic information such as main languages spoken / english understanding
when signing up should be compulsory?

If you know someone is using google translate then your not going to be using colloquial or local sayings / words which cause all manner of confusion & mis-understanding

Limiting the number of hosts allowed for any clip especially when using a multi-host

The most i've seen in a post is 3 mirrors using single hosts which at least gives a chance for each to remain alive through activity

Multi-hosts allowing 10-15 are guaranteeing dead links will start within 30 days of the last download

Example here 12 hosts on offer posted 4/2014 all dead
I'll bet posts 158-160 are no different

Members can subscribe to threads. You can view these threads from user cp. Whenever any one posts it will go to the top. Also subscribed threads do have a mark next to them. You can auto subscribe by posting in a thread -you might have to tweak your settings to do this first.
