Cheers LVG...we are talking about hi-jacked LOG-IN pages. NOT POP-UPS These seem, in the main, to go to 'Jasmine-something' So far, no Moderator has explained why this HI-JACK happens. Some Mods have tried to detail earlier avoidance measures,, for which I'm grateful~ but they are not relevant. But, so far...NO MODERATOR ....seems to have grasped the issue. 1. WHY ...the continual hi-jacks when logging in ? CAN IT BE FIXED ? And.... 2. Is it an IT problem or a HACK on the older OS ~ like mine ? CAN IT BE FIXED ? My original Post was, is this an annoyance ~ like a new kind of advertisiing that didn't work? Or a hack ...like Flix etc suffered? |

Most advertisements on adult sites come with some kind of malicious script that cause at least a browser hijack.
If you use Adblock those ads should not appear at all, if they still do despite of Adblock, your browser or even your system could have been hijacked. It's not a hijacked login page, it's the browser(s) or the system. Can it be fixed? Buttsie on his reply has posted a few clean-up tools that should do it. Still, if you use Adblock, an updated antivirus and an updated browser, you shouldn't have had the problem in the first place, doesn't matter if your operating system is old. What puzzles me here is that you seem to be DEMANDING attention from a moderator while completely disregarding all the helpful replies from other forum members as 'irrelevant'.

Staff at the forum have no control over the ads at the forum. If one of them is redirecting you, we cannot do anything about that. There is no hack of the actual forum software.
The only advice we can give you is to use AdBlockPlus and NoScript. The other advice I can give you is to not logout. Check remember me when you log in and when you are done browsing the forum, close the browser. When you launch the browser again and access the main page of the forum the next time, you will be already logged into the forum.

Hint: Adblock plus eats a lot of ressources.
And there were those acceptle Ads from the company that publishes it (Eyeo GmbH). And they have been sued by german tabloid publisher Axel Springer Verlag. They won I afair, but they are not relyable. U-block Origin is better IMO. (google it). It is the reason why Adblock Edge was stopped, because Ublock Origin works better. It blocks livejasmin, while Thanks still work There is also pi-hole (https://pi-hole.net/) which uses a completly different approach. It runs on a Raspberry PI and blocks ads in your network, similar to a company firewall. So it works for all your devices (smartphones, desktop, laptop, tablets). Especially nice for iOS - as there are no ad blockers available AFAIR. And mobile device ads are even more annoying than pc ads. And it doesn't cost ressources (besides power for the PI) - as the PI handles it. Edit: A lot of "normal" sites already use AdDefend, so they can't be viewed correctly with an Adblocker. Currently PI hole sometimes circumvents this (but not in every case). But since it needs a Raspberry PI which not many users will have, there is a big chance that it won't get blocked or fought.
