Which browser are you using? I've had problems uploading to mediafire in both Firefox & Opera.

I don't use mediafire very often, but when I do I have to use the drag & drop option when uploading. I can't use the browse option, or I get the same message you did. I'm using firefox. I never tried to see if another browser would let me use the browse option & never looked into why that message appears because the drag & drop option worked.

I just started using MF to replace my Megaupload links and I have got an annoying little issue. It will not remember my username or password.
I am using Firefox 6.0.2 This is an issue that I get occasionally with certain sites. 90% of sites work fine for me with the username and password but this one does not remember them. What is also odd is that the Firefox password prompt box does not pop up to ask me if I want it to remember the password. I've got different passwords for everything so every time I long on, I have to go and look it up which is becoming annoying. Anyone ever had an issue like this before? |

It does the same on IE. I wouldn't worry about it.

Possible reasons:
1. Were your files password-protected? MF does not allow them for free-users or those having a free personal account. 2. While using NoScript on FF, be sure to have MF "allowed" in your settings

I have just downloaded one without any problems, mind you i haven't tries adding any of the links to my posts yet.
