HD new films difficult to play and help please ?
Hello,
I have found recenly that HD / high quality films ( 1.5GB and above for say a 20 min film ) have become difficult to play. They tend to stick every 10 secs or so and break up. As it's only the higher quaity films I guess it's the size/amount of data, but I have a modern, pretty powefull computer and up to date windows etc I use VCL media and windows media player and these always work fine with all others. Can anyone recomend a video player that handles larger data films please or any other help. ( Sometimes the choice of finding the same film in lower definiton smaller size isnt a choice as it cant be found.) Thanks in advance for any help please. |

If you use VLC media player, be sure to disable 'Sharpen' in the video effects tab.
Do this by clicking on the 'show extended settings' tab (the little icon with 3 vertical lines), this brings up the 'adjustments and effects' box. Go to the 'video effects' tab and uncheck the 'sharpen' box. You can get to this box by clicking on the 'tools' tab at the top of the player, this gives a list, now click on 'effects and filters' to get the box I referred to earlier.
