That´s not the problem! The imagehost is integrated in the posting window so I can´t get such an image.

When I try to upload more than one image in a row, under the uploaded pics stands "processing" but nothing happens.

I teach at a university, and that assumption usually serves me well. Besides, this was about ignorance, not stupidity.

Anyway, the issue you mentioned is a bit off-topic for this thread (there are threads on imagehost issues in the Help section). Suffice it to the say that imagehosts (well, imagevenue anyway) are typically not very friendly to pics getting near their max file size of about 2MB. These often die instantaneously, and even if not die later with a much higher probability than other pics.

As a general rule, you are better off scanning at a high resolution and then reduce image size via a picture editor afterwards, i.e. instead of scanning with a low resolution to begin with. A good antidote against Moire patterns. IMO there is no real need for scanned A4-page jpeg files to be bigger than 1MB.

Yeah, I agree, in spite of the actual ID in the scan, but I don't know who she is.

This was posted in Karen Hafter's thread and both banquomerc and mascque51 identified her as Joyce Gibson , as I am not sure its Joyce , though its not clear as the breast size looks a little small for Joyce
