I use JDownloader almost exclusively to do downloads from VEF posts.

For the last day or two I've been getting the "expired" message when I attempt to download from 1fichier.

I cranked up my Opera browser and tried the same link and it started to download with no trouble.

When I first started getting the "expired" message I decided to check to see if my JDownloader was current. I downloaded and installed 226 updates. That didn't solve the problem.

Can any one help me out with this?

Sounds like you may have an A/c with 1fichier and have password / details in JDownloader somewhere that have expired. I'm not having problems

Tryvek, do you have Jdownloader 1 or Jdownloader 2? I recently experienced the same problem as you, but the automatic updates for Jdownloader 2 solved the problem. If you don't have Jdownloader 2, then it would be worth giving it a try (watch the install though, as it wants to install adware if you don't untick the right boxes).

If A/c = Account, I don't have an account with 1fichier and I have never entered any password info to JDownloader.

As for whether I have JDownloader 1 or 2, my current version is 0.9.581 (12/14/2013) (free version) and according to JDownloader that is the most current version.

Couldn't find any reference to either JDownloader 1 or 2.

Instead of the "expired" message, I'm now getting the "No need to reconnect wait (5 minutes)" message, over and over again.

My Oracle browser continues to download 1fichier rar files, no problem.

It's still in beta but I have been using it for months without any problems.

As mentioned above, read each screen carefully during installation to make sure it's only the Jdownloader you are installing

Thanks for your reply. I'm in the middle of downloading from other web sites so it will be a few days before I can give it a try.

BTW, I looked in the sub-folder called Plugins and noted that the plugin listed for 1Fichier is labeled as OneFichier. Tried changing the label to 1Fichier but that didn't work.

Once I download the version you recommend I'll check to see if there is a 1fichier plugin in that sub-folder.

Got an email today that 1fichier is about to change its file retention from 90 days to 60 days for free users. Unless, of course, I upgrade to a premium membership for only £9.99 per year.

I am having issues uploading to them at the moment. I get half way through and then it gets cut....very annoying, it seems to get better if I make the file smaller, but not all the time. Frustrating

I'm still tossing up if I'll take it up. I can see Rapidshite becoming totally useless, packupload was no better when they came back, putlocker / filedrive time out on me when uploading, & I refuse to use the #$@% shite " pay per click " hosts. 9.99EU may just be worth the aggravation of ReHosting files continually deleted after 60 days. Of course once I pay they will go out of business with-in a month ;(
