Nice black eye for those that would remove all major sporting events from free to air TV
as is currently occuring across multiple sports.
Sounds like Los Angeles where a dispute between the Dodgers and the cable providers has blacked out TV coverage of games for over half their fans.

You don't have to be a communist to want some reforms.

What if you lived in Australia?

Well, you'd be smart
I was just watching Sky News and there was a small segment about our internet habits and sort of couldn't believe it, too good to be true, of an evening I thought that social networking sites would be most popular and visited. Not the case , Reddit was number 1 , facebook didn't come in till number 4, thought that would be number 1 ..... guess we're not quite as stupid and shallow as I thought

It's the past tense of 'to read'. God you're ignorant!

Their monumental 3rd party privacy breach would be why their down the list

Facebook privacy breach: How to check right now if Cambridge Analytica got your data

http://www.abc.net.au/news/science/2...r-data/9639572

People are starting to wake-up to the fact that these sites are only set-up to harvest your personal details and nothing else.

Just this week i get a letter about telstras privacy breach
- 3rd party firm page up they were using for recruitment was hacked

Telstra freezes job ads after hack of Australian SaaS provider PageUp People

https://www.crn.com.au/news/telstra-...-people-492903

These guys would be using state of the art monitored security

Computers have never been so insecure imho

Agreed, but very minor edit: people have never been so... & one might also substitute or add another i-word such as incompetent.

At least they're 'in' something.
When I signed up for our 'fibre to the hub fraudband', all I got was 'fibre to the nuh'.
Meanwhile the cost of 'the cheaper alternative' has blown out many times over and still fails to deliver anything approximating satisfactory service to remote areas.

I've noticed anything I buy on ebay comes up as an add on facebook, which wasn't surprising. What was odd was an add on youtube for a car electronic analysis 'kit' that a friend told me about shortly before.
The only time I 'bitched' online about the high cost and ineffectiveness of paying for auto electronic analysis was here in our very own mod forum.

Meta-data pretention?
