What if you lived in Australia?
Well, you'd be smart I was just watching Sky News and there was a small segment about our internet habits and sort of couldn't believe it, too good to be true, of an evening I thought that social networking sites would be most popular and visited. Not the case , Reddit was number 1 , facebook didn't come in till number 4, thought that would be number 1 ..... guess we're not quite as stupid and shallow as I thought

At least they're 'in' something.
When I signed up for our 'fibre to the hub fraudband', all I got was 'fibre to the nuh'. Meanwhile the cost of 'the cheaper alternative' has blown out many times over and still fails to deliver anything approximating satisfactory service to remote areas. I've noticed anything I buy on ebay comes up as an add on facebook, which wasn't surprising. What was odd was an add on youtube for a car electronic analysis 'kit' that a friend told me about shortly before. The only time I 'bitched' online about the high cost and ineffectiveness of paying for auto electronic analysis was here in our very own mod forum. Meta-data pretention? |

Folks, your ISP, email providers, search engines, social media, bank, credit card companies, phone provider, and everybody you do business with are wired into gigantic databases that track you and seek to get as much of your money as they possibly can. It is far too late to change it, they have a lot more money and influence with your government.
You think you are a human being with rights. They think you are a "marketing unit." Deal with it. |
