apologies if this is explained earlier in this thread - but what is your source for these pics - old copies of spick and span? if so I'd quite like to see the page layouts some time as well as the pics. and - how do you know the models' names? are they given in the mags? in many glamour mags models are given different names in different mags

1955 - a great year ! I scan or photograph directly from original mags. I kept all mags that I bought from 1970 till publication ended in 1976 and, over the years, managed to acquire earlier copies, mainly via eBay or directly from private collectors. I have well over 200 mags. I will post accompanying narratives with the models' details as well if preferred. Nick

why not post a couple and see what people think? personally I like to see what was written and how the page looked - but others may prefer just to have the shots of the girls. 200 mags is an impressive collection.

masterthief, the S&S format, was usually a photo per page (pocket size) and, the narrative with the pics was an entire page too. eg. Janet Cooke.

I see - well in that case, maybe you're best sticking with the pics and names - unless there is some sparkling prose on the narrative page which you think is worth sharing!
