I want to recognise which models were regulars, who worked with Serge Jacques on more than a few occasions.
So far we know of (ex?)wife Claudie Perrin, colored girl Raven,Nicole,"Tess" (my moniker since she didn't have one..),Brigitte Lahaie,Joëlle Coeur,Marie-Paul Lepic, Martine Audo,Ann-Dominique, Pia Cardano,Rosemary,Nancy, Michelle Perello,etc...

I'll just go into my archive, more can be added by other VEF-ers..
Today i wanna show what i have of Nicole, all her content is presumed to be of SJ.

She's called Nicole (from Avignon..),shot by Roland Carré(known SJ alias)in Frivol 16.

She has two VEF threads under the names of Karine Brutte and Esther Raymond, probably just one-off pseudonyms. Within the second thread there is one pictorial where "Nicole" is paired with a surname: "Grant". In "Girls of the World" she was once referred to as "Nicole Vernier".

Roland Carré and Serge Jacques are not the same person.
They'd worked for the same mazagine, Folies de Paris Hollywood, during 50 and 60. Same models, same places... But around 1965 Roland Carré was sentenced to prison (5 years) for shooting full nude and minor girls. He stops shooting and died in 70. In France before 1970, full nudity was forbidden and minority is 21.
3 photographers had the same models for Paris Hollywood : Serge Jacques, still alive, André Belorgey died in 2014 and Roland Carré.

Thank you szalay for this interesting information. Regarding Roland Carré, would it be possible to know how reliable the source is according to you?
I am asking because the name of Roland Carré was given (among some others) as being an alias of Serge Jacques in an article of the French magazine "Photo" of 1982, that was posted here by Joszka, and also because at this time I couldn't find on the Net any biographic information about R. Carré that could confirm or invalidate the magazine's statement about this name.
That's the reason why I think your comment would be very useful on that point.

That's the reason why I think your comment would be very useful on that point.

The source is Serge Jacques himself. He is between 85 and 90 but in good form. He lives in the french alps.

For the 50 period and first-half 60, it's a simple way to recognize Roland Carré photos and Serge Jacqes photos if you have the negatives or the contactsheet. Roland Carré marks the photo directly on the negative like this 825-12 (example, of course) and after only two digits. Serge Jacques didn't mark the negatives, he used and external sytem.

If you look at Gilles Néret's book Tashen about Serge Jacques you can see that many pics are from Roland Carré. And if you take care, you can find some André Bélorgey's pics.
