VEF Must Be Careful

DCMA notifications are one blight, OK

They can be dealt with by Lawyers/Solicitors with an "umph" of competence.

I've read that it's costing the "Studios" much more to litigate, than to RECOVER alleged "theft".

HOWEVER.... a 'sideways approach' can be aginst "content".

With the Trump alleged "Evangelical" support in SCOTUS, many/many threads/ posts... are threatended.

VEF NEEDS TO BE CAREFUL

IMO - a New Purge/ Investigation etc of "porn" will satisfy the 'Trump-Core' .

1. VEF is not based in the US.

2. There are people who deal with DMCA's efficiently when needed. Staff at this forum does not perform that function.

Uncle Sammy has threatened many things in the past and
none of them has ever gotten off the ground

The forum owner knows where the line in the sand is - hence why content is on 3rd party hosted sites and not vefs servers but too many of us uploaders
dont really get the possible dangers or see them as insignificant.

Take the underage issue

Plenty just didnt get the no under 18 rule until it was spelt out
Clothed or unclothed makes no difference - none of its allowed

The latest one in LDMs thread refers to the UK period where 16/17 year olds did topless

Vbulletin is made for more than just adult forums

I'd guess they were written to keep the naive tweens away from teen forums given parental controls thesedays make VEF and its ilk almost invisible

Plenty of talk about mostly by webmasters wanting change from 13 to 18 as default
that ended up having to do their own coding
