You are probably right: if the strange jump in the beginning was not in the movie itself then the music must be added later, as there is no cut in the song.
I was in doubt myself but her moves seemed to fit rather well and a nearly unknown Arabesque song is really a strange choice ...

Is there any chance that you guys know of that somewhere in the known universe there is a real-time version of the ultra-time-lapse striptease in the one episode of Monty Python? I've been stepping through it frame-by-frame, and it looks really hot and burlesquey. Problem is there's a lot of motion blur, which suggests it was filmed that way, unless someone else filmed it at normal speed and it's hidden underground somewhere... But I know it's probably one of those things that never existed, like an uncensored version of the strip in the Beatles' "Magical Mystery Tour"... But I just thought I'd ask...

I think it's the nightclub scene in Liasons Coupables.(1987) A Marc Dorcel film.

Monty Python was the 70's not the 80's so it couldn't have been from that film. As to the subject of the strip, I think it was done specifically for that sequence and I am sure I have seen a slowed down version. In fact all you need to do is find it on YouTube (as I am sure that is where I saw it) and put it through a video editor or Windows Movie Maker etc and slow it down like that.

Update: the episode is called The Royal Philharmonic goes to the bathroom and the stripper is Sheila Sands.

Sadly only 240 resolution but better ones might be available. The problem with slowing it down is going to be that the original is probably only 25fps at best, and you would need to slow it down considerably. The slowed version would probably only be about 2 or 3 fps, with no way to re-create the lost motion in between frames. Finding the original speed version if one exists is the best bet.

Probably lying in some BBC archive but I doubt they give someone a copy without a very good reason (like producing a documentary) ...
