I'm sorry. My eyes skimmed right past the Mediacoder download list and went straight to the AVS ad that is on the link you provided.
I've never tried Mediacoder but I just downloaded and tried it. Works great! Thank you. For anyone interested, here is a link to free download at cnet (windows 32 bit ME through 7). 4 stars from the editors http://download.cnet.com/MediaCoder/...-10595575.html Last edited by domac80; April 14th, 2011 at 06:25 AM.. |

My pic grabber saga continues. Because ImageHost Grabber didn't work with Firefox 4.0, I used Downthemall for a few months. Eventually, though, it started having a few problems of its own (mainly slowing down). I decided to just go back to an older version of Firefox so I could use ImageHost Grabber again.
So what I'm wondering now is: Is anyone else having problems with ImageHost Grabber not working with ImageBam any more? About two weeks ago it seemed to almost totally lose its compatibility. Now it grabs maybe one out of twenty pics that were uploaded with ImageBam. Most annoying.

I couldn't use imagehost grabber on Firefox 4 either. Like you I went back to a 3. version and have had no problems. Mine's working fine on Imagebam. I suggest you update to the latest 3.whatever version and then reload imagegrabber. Good luck.

Can someone recommend a method of generating a different ip address every time I log on? My previous IPS did this routinely. Without doing this downloading multiple Rapidshare files is nearly impossible due to the long wait times between downloads (for us free users).

there should be a downside for people who don't pay a service in comparison to those people who pay. that's just fair.

Image Gallery's
Before anyone gets strict with me please know i did search the forum but can't find a answer.
When i'm looking at threads users have kindly posted there collections on, i would like to save some pictures or the whole set. Is there a quicker way to do this instead of clicking the link and dragging the image on every individual picture? Im using safari but would willingly change if there is a feature on another browser. Thanks in Advance |

My favorite for Firefox is "Imagehost Grabber" . . .will "suck" an entire thread in one go.
Free and well supported. I don't know of any such plugins for Safari, but it works fine on FF for Mac. |

All those grab the thumbnails that are on the page.
Is there anything that could grab the full size pictures? |

^^^THIS^^^ If the page has all clickable thumbs which is usually the case here at VEF this downloads them to whatever file you choose in your computer and is incredibly fast. In your file you get clickable thumbs which in turn lead to full-size images. I have Windows 7 but this works equally well with Vista and XP. Firefox browser and this add-on are indispensible for forums like this one.
