From vague memory, there was another ex-army officer who posed for the Sun in the early/mid-90's, although pretty sure it was after she'd quit/been sacked, rather than being the reason for it- I think she'd got the push for having an extra-marital fling with one of her NCOs.
IIRC the Sun ran the story then did a follow-up with the photoshoot, though she didn't go topless, just posed in her underwear, and I think they even offered a full-size poster of her that readers could send off for!

A Dallas high school Spanish teacher who posed naked for Playboy while in college has been fired.
Cristy Nicole Deweese, 21, who was featured in the magazine three years ago as 'Coed of the Month,' was terminated after outrage from students' parents came to a head last week.

Ms Deweese, who taught Spanish at Townview Magnet High School appears ready to relaunch her modeling career.

The saucy Spanish teacher was fired late last week, according to the Dallas Observer, only days after her naughty past was in the media.

Though she was not a Dallas Independent School District employee at the time the pictures were taken, administrators may have deemed her past inappropriate for a 21-year-old teaching students only a few years younger.
Ms Deweese has not waged a public battle with the school, instead focusing on the students.
'I miss the kids, so I'm sad about that, but otherwise I'm doing fine,' she stated.
After thanking someone for their support, she stated 'I'm just hoping they find a new teacher soon so it doesn't affect the students.'
The former Playboy Coed of the Month (February 2011) looks to have moved on from being a teacher for the time being, based on a profile started on MM.
'I've been modeling since I was 12, quit for a while to pursue teaching and now I'm back,' she wrote on the site.
Though saying on Twitter she's unable to discuss her firing for now - perhaps a sign she's retained a lawyer, according to the Observer - she posted a picture on the social media site of herself before going 'on-camera.
She then tweeted a picture of herself on TV that she says her mother took. It is not clear if that on-camera appearance was a modeling audition or for another reason.
Ms Deweese also tweeted that she signed a contract saying she can't do any media interviews until November 8. Miss Deweese's sexy shots are available for all to see online - including the teenage boys she currently teaches.
Among her pictures are full-frontal naked shots, photos of her wearing 'winter bunny gear' and lingerie, a simulated lesbian sex scene and a 'Naked Outdoors' gallery.
In a behind-the-scenes video clip from the photoshoot, when asked about her hobbies, the teenager says: 'Hunting, shooting... I shot me a buck last year.' She adds that she is majoring in Spanish and 'going to be a Spanish teacher'.
One parent, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Dallas Morning News, that although her Playboy past should not prevent Miss Deweese from being a teacher, it did affect the way she is viewed by some students.
'Are her male 16- and 17-year-old students looking at her without picturing her nude?' Another added.
'And for the female students, is this someone they can respect as an educator, someone that they can look up to?'
The Dallas school district would not comment on Miss Deweese's pictures, saying that it was a 'personnel matter'.
She was not employed by the school district at the time the pictures were taken.

Leviathan hits the nail on the head about this idiocy. Bullshit about "protecting children" not only ends up treating everyone as a child, but is deeply patronising towards young people. Bloody hell, a little over fifty years ago, when I realised that my girl contemporaries were beginning to take on a different - and interesting - shape, I was able to research this phenomenon by turning up my mac collar to cover my school uniform tie, and buying Kamera of H & S. I would hope the yoof of today can find its way around absurd "parental controls" on the family 'puter.

Probably because at the time she was playing Nancy Drew on TV and the show was aimed at family viewing audiences and teenyboppers. Plus I think she was glad to be let go, she felt she was a little old for the part and there wasn't much challenge in it. She moved on to play Fallon Carrington on Dynasty not long after.

A Houston police sergeant is in hot water and could face termination over racy photos she posted on a modeling website.
According to reports, Sgt. Stacey Suro, 42, posted photos on xxx. She is scantily clad or nude in the pictures. The page of photos has since been removed.
Last week, Houston learned the 20-year veteran had posted nearly 100 photos on the site under the name “Tessoro”, the station said.
Suro, 42, has been relieved of duty while Internal Affairs investigates.
In a statement, Police Chief Charles McClelland said the department is aware of the allegations but that he is unable to comment until after the investigate is complete.

The 42-year-old Houston police woman found an easy way to attract friends, by posting some revealing photos while in uniform. However, her superiors are not finding the photos appealing at all. In fact, she has been relieved of duty while Internal Affairs investigates.

Looks like the police Sergeant by day, lives in a different world outside of the job. Suro is an after-hours model, or so one might think, based on the risqué photos she posted on the website Model-Mayhem.com.

The investigation into this supervisor's online activity started last Wednesday. Sources said that's when the higher ups at HPD learned Suro had posted nearly 100 pictures -- some of them nude -- on the modeling site.

According to KPRC-TV in Houston, while a few of the photos are mild, others go a little deeper. They depict Soro in fetish, bondage and other compromising positions.

Suro has since taken the link down. But before she did, KPRC Local 2 found her bio where she called herself "Tessoro." She clearly stated she was a model.

Sources report that many of her subordinates at West Side Patrol have seen these photos which can be found all over the Internet and a never-ending list of news and commentary outlets, since KPRC-TV broke the story.

HOUSTON - A former sergeant at the Houston Police Department has been demoted because of naked pictures she allegedly posted online.
An attorney with the Houston Police Officers Union' attorney confirmed the news on Tuesday, saying Stacey Suro accepted the police chief's recommendation for demotion.
The demotion means Suro is now an officer and will no longer patrol the streets of west Houston. Instead, she will work inside the department's property room near downtown.
The decision follows a five month internal affairs investigation after she posted photos on ModelMayhem.com.
The investigation into Suro's online activity started last September. Sources said that's when HPD learned Suro had posted nearly 100 pictures, some of them nude, on the modeling site. Other images appear to depict Suro in fetish, bondage and other compromising positions.
Suro has since taken her information down. Before the content was removed, KPRC-TV Houston found a bio in which Suro called herself "Tessoro." She clearly stated she was a model and was charging photographers for work.
According to the department's conduct policy, "Employees shall exhibit professional conduct at all times and shall not engage in any activity, including unlawful activity that would degrade or bring disrespect upon the employee or the department."
Her attorney said she accepts responsibility for her decisions. A police source said the demotion will likely come with a significant pay cut for the 20 year veteran.
Police Chief Charles McClelland would not address the case on camera in October.

Hunter still feels this way, despite being fired from a bartender job and a hostess job within the past two months. She said it’s all because of her nude modeling career. She has years of experience and a large following online.
“As long as it doesn’t affect the work that you’re doing now and you show up on time and you do your job and you’re good at it, it doesn’t seem to me that other jobs you’ve had in the past have had any impact on that,” Hunter said.

FOX43 legal analyst Steven Breit said Pennsylvania is an at-will employment state, which means employers can hire and fire workers at any time, as long as it’s not for a discriminatory reason.
“It’s very easy, as an employer, to craft reasons why someone is going to be terminated,” Breit said. “And as long as they’re articulated in a non-discriminatory fashion, it is hard to prove a discrimination case.”
Hunter said she’s proud of the work she has done and warns that people shouldn’t judge a book by its cover or by what they uncover in an internet search.
“I know plenty of very educated, very intelligent women, myself included, who get into the sex industry because it’s what they enjoy, it’s what they like and they’re good at it,” Hunter said. “But that doesn’t, in any way, make someone less capable of doing any other kind of job.”
