Did you know that David Walliams and Matt Lucas were once a double act called Mash & Peas. They appeared in Fat Les's odd alternative football song Vindaloo video(aka Keith Allen, who had appeared in a video for the best football song World in Motion by New Order) and it spoofed the Bitter Sweet Symphony by the Verve even down to Paul Kaye looking like the lead singer. It fooled quite a few people. As Mash and Peas they weren't very funny but later went on to bigger and better things with their own show Little Britain(actually not that hilarious to me either) An acquired taste.

Which of them are redneck states and why do they like hitting asses?
As I understand the meaning of a redneck state, a southern, usually rural state with very conservative leanings, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, Kansas, Montana and Indiana don't qualify. If you eliminate the southern qualification, they all qualify.

Outside of Nothern Indiana,(mostly the northern most counties)people talk, act, throw the Bible at you, like people in the deep south! Its definately one of the most unusual states in the Union. It has voted Republican in all cases but a few for presidential elections. The money is generated from the heavy industry up north,& the southern part of the state benefits from it.Something they forget.

Default Morecombe & Wise

Good old Morecombe & Wise.

For the benefit of those of you who are not British, Morecombe & Wise were compulsive viewing back in the 60's and 70's, and Christmas simply wasn't christmas without them!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1KOH81SWgE

Now, if you look very carefully at the YouTube clip of Morecombe & Wise, here with Cliff Richard, just to the right of the right hand gun you will see what is easilly thought to be simply shadow. However, if you look very closely you will see that it isn't, it is a slightly darker and round - It is wet paint!
Eric Morecombe (the one with the glasses) lost his temper while they were filming this sequence and threw one of the mops - which went right through the scenery, requiring a very quick repair, and so the paint wasn't dry! It looks like shadow, but Eric himself admited doing this on a TV interview!

Slight point of order rustler it is MORECAMBE not Morecombe. People who live there would thank you for spelling it wrong. He also has a statue there which is usually draped in scarves of Morecambe football club especially if they play a large game or derby. He and Ernie appeared on the US show with Ed Sullivan in the 60s and he refered to him as 'MORICAMBE' at first.

I don't remember which film it was but veteran director/producer Alfred Hitchcock was nearly killed on set. A camera, weighing around 850ib, fell from the roof of a gym they were filming in and landed right next to him-a few inches over and he would have been dead.

The building on the cover of Led Zeppelin's Physical Grafitti is the same building that Mick is waiting for Keith at in the video for "Waiting on a Friend."

It's sometimes like that across the Atlantic, too. I am an American who opposed the war in Iraq, and I can say that people here in conservative Cincinnati were practically gung-ho about the war, even though some of us had the sense to question it.

Graham Chapman of the Monty Python troupe was a fully qualified medical doctor and acted as the crew physician on the Tunisian set of Life of Brian.
