Cast your minds back to the days when television series were fast, exotic and above all good. Remember the ITC days with shows like 'The Adventurer', 'The Champions' and 'Man In a Suitcase' amongst others? Wasn't it funny that if there was a car chase along a mountain pass that each time the car went over the edge it was the always the SAME make-a S-TYPE Jaguar (usually as the villain's getaway car) It was of course the same car because it was stock footage used as a way of saving money.

Knowing that cast your minds again back to the 2pt KNIGHT RIDER special where K.I.T.T. and Michael Knight discover he has a prototype evil twin called K.A.R.R. and right at the end of the second part KITT and KARR charge headlong towards each other where you've guessed it one of them goes off a cliff. Imagine my surprise when I found out that they also used stock footage of a car going off a cliff, only ironically it was from a film called THE CAR. I think this was also used in CHRISTINE by Stephen King about a female car.

There are some large areas of semi wilderness left in Britain, but these are almost exclusively in the Scottish mountain regions. Reintroducing the wolf would be possible in some of these remote deer forests which are typically many miles away from significant human populations. It won't happen though, I am sure. Wolves have a very bad reputation.

We have plenty of wilderness here, and forest and we have wolves occassionally, but alas when they are noticed they are quickly hunted down. Seems no one wants the poor wolf in their neighbourhood, or anywhere else come to that.

Did you know...

The New Zealand tuatara is, despite appearances, not a lizard. They are the only living species of an order of reptiles that predate lizards.

Pictured here is Henry, who became a father at age 111.

Wolves are great for cleaning the forest and keeping the big-deer population right. But when they eat "property" like reindeer, it's guaranteed people will trap and hunt them, even if they're a protected species

It's not so different with bears and tigers, unfortunately

The South American stringed instrument, the charango, is traditionally made with the shell of an armadillo.

Similar in appearence to a ukelele, it has usually 5 pairs of strings, and the back of the sound box was traditionally an armadillo shell. (Today they are usually made of wood, like a guitar).

Did you know...

The band Toto's song "Roseanna" is indeed about Roseanna Arquette, it was written for her before she became famous.

Toto's lead singer was the son of famous composer John Williams, and he also wrote the annoying song the Ewoks sing as the end of Return of the Jedi.

Robert Newton was halfcut when he made Disney's 'Treasure Island' - the old soak was drunk on set but still gave a stellar performance. Strange that being drunk didn't harm him yet Tony Hancock(British comedian of the 50s & 60s) lost out on a role like that of Newton for not being able to hold his liquour - but he also had a temper and mood swings so that probably stopped him too. He was also once too drunk to appear on the set. He always regretted not making it in the US.

All of them are hillbilly aka redneck states!Nowadays the definition is any state is a redneck state that votes Republicans in office, blindly.

Why?So many reasons, mainly ones that are biggoted, racist, bible thumping,to the point of twisting the meanings in it to suit their agenda.Control of the people by the wealthy ,is what it amounts to.Like the totalitarian doctrines all over the world, extreme communism, fascism, radical Islam, they don't like tollerance or free thinkers, that leads to a more democratic governing & breaks up the power of the oligarchy.

They like hitting kids because they cannot fight back, just as slaves could'nt in the old south. Its a power thing, like the old south saying of, "I'm da boss & you da hoss!"A lot of those very states now want to make it harder for people to vote like shorten voting hours, for one example, so the poor & working classes of any race have a rediculous time to try to vote, but the rich class do not.& we hear of our government lambaste other countries for not having free elections!
