Deleting New Subscribed Threads

I need to know if there's an easier way to delete your New Subscribed Threads page when you come on to the Forum. I know of a few ways this could be accomplished and it won't have to bother any other page. You can have a button that would highlight every notice on the New Subscribed Threads forum and it would ask you if you want to delete everything. You hit the delete button and it would delete everything.

I've gone through a lot of these postings separately and was wondering can someone put something up there to save some time?

I've never used it but empty current folder on the right under user cp / view all subscribed threads sounds like everything gone in one click possibly

Changing the default of automatically subscribing when you post in a thread
to dont subscribe can stop a lot of the unwanted ones before they even begin

user cp / settings/options messaging/notifications

Default Thread Subscription Mode

When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.

Default Thread Subscription Mode: 5 options - my choice - dont subscribe

Even just viewing the subscribed list with notification disabled
- user cp / right handside top - the most active topics are at the top of it

Could someone please put a Folder Control Box at the top of the New Subscribed Threads list? That would delete incoming thread notifications without blowing all your Subscriptions list.
