Just a guess but the damaged exhaust he suffered would have altered his fuel consumption heavily and would have his temperature sensors red lining. He would have possibly pulled over for safety, there was a lot of damage to his engine cover alone after the last race.
Anyway, why would Ron Dennis know? Is he working with Red Bull now?

Very exciting race today, feel really sorry for Vettel, he doesn't seem to have much luck does he. Nice call by Jenson to go in for the slicks too, glad he has managed to get one up on the Hamilton machine! The season is very open so far and hopefully will remain that way for a good while yet.

The team said he had a broken spark plug so he was effectively running on 7 cylinders I guess. The car didn't sound right after he reported the problem.

The best livery ever in motorsports. Second would be the orange & blue Gulf livery on the LeMans Porsches.

Very entertaining race today. Button gambled making the switch to slicks and I thought he had messed up because I thought surely there would be more rain. I would have liked to see what would have happened if Alonso didn't spin out on the first lap. Once he got going he was flying.

Lots of passing in this race which seems to happen once you get a little rain involved.

Poor Vettel can't catch a break or I guess this week you could say BRAKE.
