Too widespread to be a hoax? Maybe, but it is rather strange that there seem to be no videos with a large group of people hearing that apparently very loud Booooooooooooooo. My explanation of those sounds: Miles Davis plays Tuba now! However that may be, you should better realize that the Space Pigs are coming! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrBkjWgKq3U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rc-P1WNroo0 Little Foot already leaps for joy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEvb3a-iRRU Last edited by Leprechaun; April 7th, 2012 at 03:52 PM.. |

Our leaders
When did we start electing "politicians" rather than "leaders" for ourselves?
Examples: It has happened gradually and I'm not blaming anyone. (I've been voting for three decades so I have blame, too. ) I clearly recall that, at one time, we seriously debated the leadership potential and leadership vision of the candidates we nominated--not just elected. Now we are not even considering ... anything like that. When did things finally change? e.d. |

When we stopped looking at the bigger picture is when......If you look at whats promised too you, you'll have a politician. If you look at whats promised too your wider community or country and delivers, you'll have a leader, I hope

It's never been within our move nor blame, it's been a 'Party' movement for at least the last 35 years. They shuffle a person who will do what the parties' sponsors want, not ask questions or 'do the right thing for the people'. These candidates are just too easy to spot, they make themselves known to both to the people that they work for and to the general public.
We all know who is lined-up to be the next leaders for any party, in Any nationality of the world - and the people can't have a say in it all the internal machinations of the political candidacy put pay to that. I don't see a way out of it coz there's a generation, we've lost to True democratic thinking DeMocKracy lost it's meaning, dissolved by the grease that moves these political parties - Money. All the people in politics now are Career Politicians, There are few genuinely motivated ones, the likes of Tony Benn & Frank Field will possibly be the last. Its certainly been incremental but if I had to say when it really changed, it was with Palin. That woman had no reason whatsoever being put where she was (and still is). And thats McCain's fault. Why he did that I'll never know. Now we have these tea partiers that have the IQ's of carrots but somehow manage to get some of their candidates elected. I don't know, could be wrong. |

Here is a good example of what we seem to be "voting for".
(The video happens to be made in the USA by USA citizens--but I am NOT making any statement about the USA by posting it. The video is timely to the conversation and we can all see our own political systems in this video simply by changing the names used in the video to politicians from home! ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdHbk...ht3hhez0hZA6fw It is an editorial cartoon animation, that questions how and why voters (ourselves!!!) seem to chose their leaders. It uses humour to show us very serious things about ourselves. e.d. |

When I was in/part of/run a part of a big company, we all worked hard to make a profit and keep the business alive.
When the money was flowing in we were very happy because we all got big bonuses. There were some bad years when the company just scraped by, but, despite no big pay check that year, the following year was a new challenge. Things are different now. Companies can make massive losses. RBS for example. However there are still big big bonuses. Or you lose your job with full retirement benefits and start work again, in your old job, as self employed. To me that is unexplainable. |

Finally, I have the explanation for the moving stones of Racetrack Playa in Death Valley as originally posted by Squigg58 on 12-17-2009
In the last few years many geologists and nature video photographers went to the Racetrack Playa to take slow motion videos over 24 hour periods. In Death Valley the temperature can vary between 100 degrees F during the day and fall below freezing at night. There is a very small amount of humidity in the air in Death Valley, just a few %. At night this humidity condenses to form a micro thin layer of ice under the stones. As the Sun rises the next morning the ice starts to melt, and as seen in the videos these stones start to slide on the ice. Before the ice melts and evaporates the stones may have moved several feet. This process repeats every night over years, and this has now become the official explanation for the movement of these stones. I saw this recently on youtube.com |
