Sunderland relegated. There wasn't another miracle comeback this year.

Sunderland lose 1-0. At almost the same time Hull and Southampton are tied 0-0 but Southampton get a penalty shot in stoppage time. If Southampton scores on that shot Sunderland live at least one more game. But Jakupovic stopped Tadic's shot to preserve a point for Hull and seal Sunderland's fate.

Back in the bargain basement O's fans decided to make a statement with a pitch invasion five minutes from time. Game was finally concluded at 6.40 pm.

And on the subject of the bargain basement the scramble for the play offs is amazing. Stevenage could finish down in 12th, I think, if they lose next week or in the play offs if they win. Race is between Carlisle in 6th on 68 points down to Mansfield in 12th on 65. Two to go through to join Luton and Exeter. Going to be interesting.
