I recently discovered that Roald (Charlie and the chocolate factory author) wrote naughty stories for Playboy, and possibly other magazines. Has anyone got a copy of such stories? Would be interesting if it mention giant peaches(Engish for ass) or big giant cocks.

He was an amazing man. Check out the Wikipedia entry on him. Chances are your local library will have some of his more adult stuff. I remember some of the excepts that were published in Playboy - they were from "My Uncle Oswald" I think.

He wrote stories that were more "risque" than pornographic. Look for a book called "My Uncle Oswald" for some of these. Roald Dahl was a great author.

Yer I got a copy of "My Uncle Oswald", an amusing risque read as Rod says.

As well as "You Only Live Twice", he also wrote the screenplay for another Ian Fleming book, "Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang."

Dahl was a writer, that wrote for a living... everywhere ... before International Recognition and Respect... he could have well written for 'Reveille'
and 'Tit-Bits' ... as did Sillitoe who also wrote children's books such as the "Marmalade Jim" series - alongside "Saturday Night Sunday Morning"

Woah there. I have also done some theatre work, written a couple of plays, two ghost stories, and several children's short stories and even poetry and never earned enough to make a day's wage so I understand how difficult being an author is and understand why they wrote so much variety of work to keep food in the cupboards, so whatever was required to do that was necessary.
The peaches quote is from The Stranglers 1970s record, "walking on the beaches, looking at the peaches", and in that era it was a common term for a girl's bottom.
I certainly didn't intend to refer to any writer of erotica as a perv.
