It's getting so cold in my Chicago apartment. Normally the new heating system does not go on until outside temperatures go no higher than 56 degrees F, which usually happens in the middle of October, but sometimes it gets that cold in late September. Fortunately I have three of these great electric heaters to keep me and my flat warm until that day comes when the heat will come from the room radiators. Two of these heaters are now on 24 hours a day. They use a lot of electricity. I also have two brand new ones in a closet that I bought three years ago, just in case the older ones quit. They can last 10 years.
