I have noticed in the last week I keep getting logged out when I close my browser (Mozilla Firefox) . The browser is remembering me as I only have to type the first letter of my user name and the rest pops straight up, I am also ticking the remember me box and have checked security settings to make sure VEF is listed in saved passwords. This only started in the last few days but doesn't happen in Chrome, only firefox. Anyone else getting this?

Your user account & profile are ok. I can't say if it's firefox, I never use that browser, but it's plausible.

Your account is activated and it appears that you can post. If you are trying to post in ID or request sections, you do not have permission because you have less 150 thanks.

You should be able to PM other members, your PM box only has one message in it.

when trying to log in yesterday night, right after the first attempt (using the correct credentials) i was greated with this:

followed by this:


Rejection caused by too many failed attempts?
If the generated error message is factually correct (not just a generic text), i can assure you, that it wasn't me who made multiple attempts. Ok, _after_ the failed login i tried again three or four times.

I'm not really concerned since today I'm able to log in as usual (otherwise I couldn't post this) and considering the maintenance troubles you had the last days i assume it's a technical error and not an indication of someone trying to guess my password...
Anyway, cheers to you folks for running such a great site!

I should imagine that everyone received those pages, me included, just part of the ongoing problems the site has been seeing, no one has been trying to log into your account.
