Angie Lyn
A tale to be told
The Sunday Mirror ran the 'striptease' spread, (posted earlier by mikeleverson and cueking) over two weeks. During the first week, the blurbs/captions for the photos had made much fuss of the fact that Angela was a 'fashion model', not a stripper, and at the end of the sequence of photos, had stated that in next week's issue, Angela would be 'completing her set in great style'. I was 12, possibly 13, and my experience of naked ladies was limited largely to the tabloid papers, and whatever boobs snuck past the censors on the telly. Things like Benny Hill, The Two Ronnies and similar, had conditioned me to believe that something teased was unlikely to actually be shown. So when they said Angela would finish 'in great style', I assumed she'd be behind a big fan, or fully clothed again. When the paper came through the letterbox, it literally took my breath away to see this in the centre pages, or wherever it was My head was broken. They'd actually managed to get this shy, reticent 'fashion model', to take off ALL of her clothes. That day was a moment of awakening for me Anyway, to finish the tale, I snatched the paper out of the bin the night dad threw it out there, kept the pic (along with the preceding week's, sadly all now long gone) and took it to my local library, to photocopy it. I got two or three copies, specifically for the purpose of trying to colour them in with pencils. I was attempting to colourise a black and white photo, back in the days when a 'Photoshop' was a place you got films developed. As mentioned above, two people off this fine forum have posted pictures from this shoot, which in turn has allowed me to finish something that I had the idea of starting nearly 40 years ago This is the above photo, tweaked, cleaned and mostly hand-coloured. It's been an obsession of mine for so long, I may post a few other variants if I do a better job

The most recent, and hopefully evidently, most time consuming, but damn I'm happy with the results ~ for now
