Well, you don't need the sauna because you live in one. All you have to do is open the door and go outside. With us it's the other way round

You aussies don't know what real winter is like. The average winter in the northern part of the U.S. is very cold and snowy. Chicago where I live is typical. From December through March the average amount of snow that can fall is anywhere between 25 and 60 inches(except during the milder El Nino winters), and temperatures can range from -16 degrees F up to 45 degrees F. Be glad you live in Australia, but stay in Victoria. This state seems to have the best weather.

Boo hoo. Why don't you cry a bit more?

The other day. I was spending all day outside. I decided to put on sunscreen

It's summer now in Chicago. Temperatures today will be a pleasant 87 degrees F, though thunderstorms are predicted. The frigid cold weather of winter won't return for 6 more months.

He forgot to tell you that his winter only lasts 6 minutes, not 6 months like in the real north

And that's 5 minutes too long

I know what winter means here though, for me at least

1, Watching Collingwood fail, again
2, Skyrocketing heating costs
3, No snow, where I am
4, Hoping Collingwood's next season is better
5, Less BBQ's

1 Yeah me too. I should be use to having my heart broken, but it still hurts
2, At least with a pension card you get 17.5% discount off your winter gas bill in addition to what ever other discounts you can screw out of Red Energy
3, And that's a bad thing?
4, Yes. Up there with hoping the next Star trek movie will be any good
5, Or you could just buy an outdoor heater and BBQ on

Yes, I'm a fan of winter BBQs too, especially when there is fish involved.

I'm going to Germany this time next year, so I checked the German weather the other night. Bloody Hell! It was 33 degrees everywhere. I honestly checked to see if it was C or F, but it was C all right- at the end of May.

I wasn't expecting that.
