The News Agent's neice..
[QUOTE=kimadams20022001;887063]Hello all, I thought I would create a thread so that we could all discuss and view our favourite M**f**r moments and pictures.
Wow, what a sensational first post to get this thread started; us mere men can only dream of the pretty girl behind the counter inviting us into the stockroom to share a passion for Mayfair models! Sorry not to be able to help with respect to your aspiration for female contributors, but I do share your passion for Joannie Allum's work. |

That's a pretty amazing experience with the newsagent's assistant Kim. I can't say I had an experience like that but there was a year when I was about 18 when I was buying MF every month. I used to go to a small newsagent where there was a gorgeous female assistant about my age, lovely big boobs inside a tight teeshirt. When I would bring the mag to her she would give me a really disapproving look and sometimes would say something like "let's see how much it is then". For some reason this used to really turn me on. I would eb as hard as rock coming out of there. I think I used to fantasise that she would heave a sigh and say something like, come upstairs and you won't need to buy that mag, but sadly it never happened.
The other thing I liked to do and found quite arousing was to read the Mag in public, like on a train. It's quite bad really looking back but I used to enjoy sitting near an attractive girl while looking at it. I dont know why but this also gave me a huge turn on. The reaction varied - once or twice the girl got up and moved to another part of the carriage; usually they wouldnt bat an eye lid, though at least once a girl pulled up her skirt and crossed/recrossed her legs. Looking back it does seem like quite embarrassing pervert type behaviour. Interesting that you still revisit issues of MF daily. I also do look at the creamsheese site for nostalgia's sake quite often, though nowadays more often I spend time lookng at hard core videos |

Girl Illustrated was the first porn mag I ever saw. I found it in my parents' bedroom in the late 60s when I was about 8.

I have to admit that as a teen I was lucky to be able to nick magazines without the newsagent knowing-I would hide the thinner ones inside a newspaper etc or for quickness down the back of my jeans, but M*yfa*r was too thick to fold up so I bought them instead, especially when they were cheaper than P*nth*use at the time. I am going back to about 1982/3 when I was the right age to buy these magazines.
My one abiding memory of a must-have M*yf*ir was in 1993. I had just got back from Austraila that morning with my friend and we were having a hot drink around 7.30am and I suddenly spotted in the nearby WHSmith a copy of M*yfa*r with Maria Whittaker on the front cover. This was well before Claire Smith and her feminist cronies forced WHSmith and other stores to take their adult magazines off the shelves. Could it be she is inside this time? I thought it needed investigating so we made our way inside. Yes, she was on the cover, but I had been conned before-as have we all-the model is the teaser to buy the magazine, but no she was inside and this time what really caught my eye was Maria would be fully naked. Did that mean she would be going completely knickerless. As a callow youth I'd seen her and Samantha Fox hundreds of times on Page 3 and all they bared bellow was their bottoms(very nice ones I might add) but nothing in magazines in this country. So I bought it and eagerly turned the pages to her bit-wow! she was completely starkers this time, but it wasn't as bushy as I had imagined but hey who cared, this was busty Maria au naturel and full frontal at last. She had teased us for so long especially those large poster magazines she did but this time she really did it.

To this day I can still remember my first Mayfair magazine: Vol 20, no 10. Henrietta Weeks and Pauline Christopher are still goddesses as far as I'm concerned and, thanks to this forum, almost 30 years later, I managed to find their sets from that magazine. Cheers to the person who posted, you brought back some great memories.

For some reason the scout group of which I was a member agreed to gather litter from a private wood that bordered on a main road. We found a box load of Mayfairs that had been thrown away. Our scoutmaster made us leave them, but the next morning I and a friend returned and liberated them.
The earliest was about Volume 4 (this would have been about 1970) and those mags smuggled home started my love affair with the mag until Paul Raymond made it just another mag. |

I've just checked on the Mag threads and it was 4/7.
From that moment on I was thrilled by Mayfair. Pretty girls (three to an issue in those days) showing only their boobs, excellent short stories and articles and believable letters and Quest. My first serious girlfriend and I used to read it together whilst sixth formers. A brilliant magazine with something for everyone sadly spoiled by Paul Raymond. |

My first was 13/7 with Frances Voy on the cover. In those days I had trouble convincing people I was under 18, not over (I was 16!) so I took it down from WHS' shelf and went to pay. I must have been beetroot as I got a chuckling smile from the woman on the till. So, thereafter I visited different newsagents at different times; I also went off to the 'collectors' fair' up in the city to pick up back issues cheap - one prize was 12/2 with Lina Lusardi for 30p...

My first copy of M*YF*IR
During a family car trip to the Lake District in the early seventies (I would have been about 12), I had to have a pee. My dad pulled into a layby and I jumped over a stone wall. When I jumped over, there before me was a fresh copy of that wonderful mag. I did what I had to and rolled up the mag, and slipped it into my jumper.
I then had a devil of a job to hide it in the car, but the effort was worth it!!! |
