IMHO the Meerkat ads are the greatest ever. Should they decide to bin them then why not a series about Alexander and Sergei???? Maybe I should suggest it to the ad agency and ask for a large sum of money for coming up with the idea!!!!!
Im suprised no one hasnt mentioned the Pretty Polly underwear ads from a few years ago! |

This is one of my favorite adverts for Peugeot:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ha5im2Yh6nE Check out the attitude on the guy driving near the end! Priceless! This one is also a good one, ahem - for the obvious reasons: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dov4opzDCrE Enjoy! |

One of my favourites was the Barclaycard adverts of the late 80s/90s with Rowan Atkinson as the bumbling spy Bernard Latham and his sidekick Bough(Boff). This became the blueprint for his film spy character Johnny English, but I always thought he should have made a tv series based on Latham. Incidentally this echoes a 70s comedy series with David Jason, which some of you might remember 'The Secret Life of Edgar Briggs' where Jason played a bumbling Inspector.
You can find loads of clips of Rowan in the afore-mentioned adverts here: http://www.youtube.com/results?searc....1.SG5QR76xL9M

Still love the old Smash (for mash get smash) ad with the robots. Holstern Pils adds with Griff Rhys Jones, classic movie spoofs. Hamlet cigar add with that bloke from Rab C Nesbitt. Tango, the face slapping one that got banned (you know when your've been tango'd). Kia Ora, the soft drink add. R Whites lemonade, Im a secret lemonade drinker. Hofmiester 'follow the bear' and the Tunes Star Wars one where an imperial officer offers Vader a Tune to help his breathing.
