Trump campaign tells GOP candidates he's taking a cut of their cash if they use his name

The campaign for Donald Trump's 2024 presidential bid has come up with a new way to raise cash — which involves calling on down-ballot candidates who use his name and likeness in fundraising pushes to give him a cut of the money they raise.

“Beginning tomorrow, we ask that all candidates and committees who choose to use President Trump’s name, image, and likeness split a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC. This includes, but is not limited to, sending to the house file, prospecting vendors, and advertising,” Trump co-campaign managers Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita wrote in a letter reported on by Politico.

“Any split that is higher than 5% will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump’s campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations," the letter added.

According to reports, Trump is having trouble closing a fundraising gap with President Joe Biden, whose campaign has raised over $190 million, which is more than double what Trump has raised.

The letter was sent out the same week Trump's New York hush money criminal trial began, a hearing expected to last six to eight weeks which is expected to hamper his presence on the campaign trail since he's required to be in court for each session.

"Down-ballot Republican candidates and committees have long used Trump in fundraising appeals, recognizing that he has support among the party’s small-dollar fundraising base. But in the letter, Wiles and LaCivita reiterated their request that Republicans 'avoid' using certain 'language and tactics' while using Trump’s name, image and likeness," Politico's report stated.

The letter warns that, “Any vendor whose clients ignore the guidelines mentioned above will be held responsible for their clients’ actions,” and that, “Repeated violations will result in the suspension of business relationships between the vendor and Trump National Committee JFC. This includes list rental agreements.”

And any GOP candidate that doesn't use his name Trump will try to "primary" out of the election.... "Nice little campaign you've got here. Be a shame if something were to happen to it...."

Donald Trump’s company behind his Truth Social platform features “diversity and inclusion” policies while the former president vows to eliminate them across the land if re-elected.

Trump, the presumptive GOP nominee, has criticized DEI policies as “un-American” for years. But the language in the Trump Media & Technology Group was adopted on March 25, 2024, according to company documents on its website. That was the day before the company went public following a merger with a shell company. Its stock has plummeted repeatedly in the weeks since.

The anti-Trump group MeidasTouch reported its DEI discovery on Tuesday while highlighting Trump’s numerous attacks on such initiatives.

Under Trump Media’s “Corporate Government Guidelines,” a section headlined in bold, “Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion,” displays terminology you won’t find the criminally indicted candidate using on the campaign trail.

“The Board is committed to creating and maintaining a culture of diversity and inclusion,” the document reads. “The Company will be better able to grow and improve with a diverse Board, management, and team of employees. Such commitment is and will be a factor in identifying and nominating director candidates.”

The pledge “encourages management to embrace the unique contributions an employee or candidate can bring to the Company and its culture in terms of their education, opinions, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, nationality, color, religion, veteran’s status, disability and other life experience.”

Meanwhile Trump has not minced words about his intention to abolish “DEI” programs if he regains office against President Joe Biden in November.

“We will terminate every diversity, equity and inclusion program across the entire federal government,” he said in January.

The former president’s allies are already working to twist Civil Rights laws into a crusade against so-called “anti-white racism” in order to eliminate government and corporate programs that help minorities overcome discrimination, Axios reported earlier this month.

“As President Trump has said, all staff, offices, and initiatives connected to Biden’s un-American policy will be immediately terminated,” Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung told the outlet.

Barr is just another craven Republican c---sucker who preens for the TV when it's convenient to his agenda, but when push comes to shove he gets in line like the good, toadying, order-following fascist he is and always will be. These people want all the credit for expressing their conscience when there is absolutely no consequence for doing so. Push comes to shove, they get in line. Today we have more Trump napping in court, one juror showed up late and may have lied about what he wrote. The nurse was dismissed who had her information too public so for today they have lost jurors.

Prosecutors inform the court that Trump violated his gag order at least 7 more times since court adjourned on Tuesday and highlight Trump’s attack on jurors last night.

So between all this, more rulings and passover, Trump likely is going to win getting the case stalled, but when the juror challenges run out we will get a jury quicker.

Another sworn in juror was dismissed they are down to 5.

Trump also was exploiting the rules in court and had his phone out, his attorney told him put it away and was annoyed.

As of 4:45 pm we are up to 12 jurors +1 alternate, potential jurors get to say what they think of Trump to his face in the court room, and a few have not been shy as he has to sit there and take it.
