If his ego needed a press conference to boast [falsely] about crowd numbers,Gawd help us,his ego is too fragile,he will need a thicker skin for the days ahead.
This is very strange and disturbing,I thought he was tougher than that

It has nothing to do with thin skin. For those that haven't figured it out, this is a power play in itself.Obama and the Democrat party ruled over the big three networks and the party has for all of my life, that is indisputable.Fox may spin but not for Fox the ones found lying on the big three would still be there and still be lying. It's also indisputable the big three are trying to minimize him as much as they can. We'll see who wins that one but I wouldn't bet against Trump. The media was against Reagan at the first also but they had to change because the people believed a hell of a lot more in him than they did the media. He didn't have the tools to bypass the media that Trump has now.I live in a rural area and ninety percent of the people I know and run into believe in Trump and most won't even watch the big three news anymore because of how one sided they have become.A lot of those outlets were failing when Obama took over.Wonder how much bailout money they got both above and under the table. You can be sure of one thing, that won't happen this time.Obama flamed Fox every chance he got.He could not stand that there was one network that didn't have their nose up his ass and there was a lot of time they almost had as many viewers as the rest put together.

Donald Trump is many BAD things but he isnt stupid
The defintion of stupid would be who dreamed up the first 100 days as some sort of measurement of a 4 year term The definition of dumb and dumber would be those that read anything into those 100 days As an Aussie the only things I like about Donald Trump is he kept another deceitful manipulative lawyer out of the top job.... Hilary under sniper fire in bosnia - I mispoke - sounds a lot like a scene you'd see in liar liar Also sounds like something like a lawyer would say when preaching to voters she sees as easily fooled idiots. The Democrats might like to think about which side they respresent before the next election before choosing this forgettable individual again. That Trump is going to kill the worst trade agreement ever considered - ttpp Only the Mafia would be more secretive about an arrangment - that means it stinks to high heaven on multiple levels across all 14 countries involved in my humble opinion From what i've read the elite in all these countries have been cheerleading for some of their industries while sending others to the colosseum to play with the lions. |

IMO anyone who thought the big three networks were acting as cheerleaders for Obama is viewing the world through some severely partisan bent perspectives. Obama was viewed much more favorably by the general public than Trump is, and that was and will be reflected in the coverage. If you want to read some over the top left wing political reporting, I suggest the Washington Post, or better yet, ThinkProgress. https://www.washingtonpost.com https://thinkprogress.org |

I need to see the weather just about every day because I work outside but not in the last few years cause I've had very little work but that's a different thread.Just a day or two after Clinton went in the first time I was waiting for the weather the girl here on the local ABC channel said they had heard from their viewers and they were tired of all the negative stories so they were going to start reporting more positive stories. That's a good example of just how stupid people in the media think the rest of us are.I took notice after that the gloom and doom reporting stopped and I've noticed here now it is starting back up.The media is one of our biggest problems,it's more opinion than news anymore.

new press secretary needed...
as 'Big Brother' spokesman Sean Spicer has been caught in yet another whopper. This time, instead of just saying that the new administration wants time to see what's going on with federal employment as the reason for the hiring freezer - he says it “counters the dramatic expansion of the federal workforce in recent years.”
In raw-number terms, the number of federal employees is nearly the same today (2.8 million) as it was when Barack Obama took office (2.79 million). It is also similar to the number of federal employees at the end of the Clinton administration (2.75 million) and lower than at any time during the Reagan administration (when it peaked at 3.15 million). As a share of the non-federal workforce, the percentage has dropped steadily since the mid-50s, when it was over 5%, to last December, when it was low of less than 2%. |

If it is compromised by opinion and political rhetoric (either way) the truth is lost to us and we are doomed. For many years I've noticed the media using biased reporting and yellow journalism. It has become steadily worse and is at a peak now, it's ridiculous. 'Fake' news caught me just recently. I keep hoping for a watershed moment when it's blatantly exposed and has to change for the better. Today, I wouldn't trust media to report the sun rising. |

News is news,it shouldn't be entertaining. If it is shown they are doing it for either one for money or political ideology they should not be allowed to call it reporting the news.A lot of people evidently from the time they learn what words mean rely on others to tell them what to think. They should never be allowed to come on TV,local or national and tell those people they are giving them the news when really they are giving them their version of the news. You can tell what Trump has done without saying why you think he did it.Let people decide that for themselves.I think Trump will show what they are and they'll either have to report the news and keep their opinion to themselves or go under.
