Trouble Editing Avatar

No matter how small I've made it, I keep being told my image is too big. Frustrating! Never had an issue doing this before.

Thanks for that, but it didn't seem to help. Either the pics are rejected or don't appear.
I have a folder of sized photos that I've rotated through before, no problem. Odd.

Are you actually within both those limits? Perhaps you could post the image you're trying to use.

There's something odd here. The Vintage avatar size used to be 100 x 100, but according to what I posted above, it's gone up to 120 x 120. That gives it the same dimensions as the Vintage profile picture - but the profile picture has a maximum file size of 15KB, the avatar only 10KB. Strikes me as suspicious and possibly related to the problem.

I've just updated my avatar to the 120 max - cool! Thanks, Mr.Bungle (by the way, I suggested an avatar for you once). But it would only take it within the 10KB limit, not 15.

I've tried avatars I once used before, but don't work now.
A bit frustrating, please help.
