Decided to try one each of these - just for research purposes of course. Got them in a large Marks & Spencer food hall.
I'm fond of German beers, but not of some of the modern British over-hopped IPA's. IMO the Thornbridge was best and a very good pastiche of German, but I thought more like a Munchner than a Kolscher. Slightly cloudy unfiltered like my favourite Hacker-Pschorr. Back label says it's a hybrid. Fermented like an ale but matured like a lager. Will definitely try both again. When I came home earlier I brought a 30 pack of Bud Light and a bag of ice , even thou I have a fridge in my shop I prefer my beer straight off the ice , its now been on 2-hours and ready to pop , a little early yet ( 2:30 pm ) but wth its time I like this time of year as the leaves are back on the trees the grass is green and 85 degrees , so I can hangout in a chair in the shade and watch the afternoon drift by banging on my laptop cheers

Uh huh , gawd bless Allah (Pee be upon him) for inventing alcohol.
Ooooooh boy.
The calming nature of booze is working it`s magic Was utterly faffed off a little while ago Also signed in and read a frustration inducing PM ,which hardly helped matters. Yet now all is glugging fine.
