Albert Einstein, Niels Bohr, Isaac Newton, Galileo Galilei and Marie Curie. Show them a pocket calculator, a smartphone and the internet. And then of course tell them that the internet is mainly used for looking at naked women!

Abraham Lincoln-From what I've read Lincoln had a pretty good sense of humor, it would be fascinating to here his anecdotes and opinions about other famous people from the American Civil War.

Sir David Attenborough-Always loved his documentaries, he had what I think would have been my dream job.

Leonardo Da Vinci-It would be interesting discussing his inventions and what inspired them.

Sir Henry Morgan-Another who's stories and anecdotes about his time I'd love to hear.

Samuel Clemens/Mark Twain-For his humor and human observation.

The Roman emperor Augustus, the Byzantine emperor Justinian, Abraham Lincoln, and the US General George Marshall ("the Marshall Plan," post-WWII). The dinner subject would be government during wartime and how to rule once war ended. The fifth person? Robert Plant. Just because he's Robert Plant.

OK, a second dinner...

Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Keith Moon, and Kurt Cobain. Dinner subject: why are you all dead and Keith Richard still alive?
