Privatised healthcare and railways can work, they do in some other European countries. But again, not in the UK, because periodically you get a Tory government that plunders and defunds everything.

Look at it this way. It took a World War for the UK to realise that socialism was a good idea, and we got a lot out of it like the NHS, but it didn't last. We always revert to self flagellation.

There was a Labour government from 74- 79 when I had to use the train.
British Railways were shit regardless of who was in power.
