Either way, you wind up listening to her, which is a mind numbing or gut twisting experience.

Almost, I figured all that out way way before I was married
Even as late as my late teens and I'm 50 now, never saw the point in chasing skirts much knowin' the odds of success were far below the odds of failure.

Even though I did chase now and then I actually had more fun failing Not a joke either, some of the best and funniest nights out I had was massive failure nights The times I was lucky when in the cab with the girl going wherever, it was a case of the challenge is over, the rest was a formality, whereas in the failure nights you could continue laughing or gettin laughed at by mates while digging into the late night drunken munchies

Unfortunately, thanks to Einstein's Theory of Relativity, that might take quite a while though...

Just lately I've noticed a lot of presenters on TV documentaries are really starting to struggle with the Metric/Imperial systems for some reason.

This has happened quite a few times recently-in one sentence they'll use the Metric system and then 10 minutes later the same presenter/narrator will say something in Imperial units!

It's got to the stage where I end up thinking to myself "MAKE UP YOUR MIND!"

I think in both systems, eg:- "Can I have a piece of M6 threaded rod about 4 inch long?"
I reckon it's an age-group thing...
