Point of Order: Germany had roughly 5.3 million men killed in that war 3.5 million on the Eastern Front vs 700,000 in the West, 250,000 in Italy & North Africa, 100,000 in the Balkans, 245,000 in the navy and Scandinavia. The UK and US captured roughly 6.6 million German POWs, with 7 to 12,000 dying in captivity. The USSR captured roughly 3 million Axis POWS with roughly a third dying in captivity.
No one is shedding any tears over German losses. The USSR suffered up to 27 million civilian and military deaths at the hands of the Axis. Just as the Chinese lost about 20 million killed by the Japanese. Two thirds of those who died in tn the conflict were civilians. The UK lost roughly 450,000 people, plus 87,000 Indian Army soldiers (and 2 million Indian civilians to famine.) The U.S. lost nearly 420,000. One need not be a communist to acknowledge the vastly greater scale of carnage in Eastern Europe. All in all the Germans and Japanese caused much more suffering than they received. |

Warlords are plague.
Quote:
I'm glad not to be born as male in the 1910~1919 in Germany or in Japan. As a lot of young men, I couldn't have quit my country or probably have served crazy dictators in fights in which I'd not have wanted to risk my life. I don't believe that ALL the Germans or Japanese soldiers were monsters. A lot of Kamikazes were drunk before to commit suicide. All lot of Germans soldiers were drunk and depressed when they had to kill hundreds of civilian Slavs everyday. If there are people we do not have to trust, that's the professional warlords. They wrote rules to push the soldiers to follow their orders and if they don't, to be killed by the bullet of one of his compatriot. These people are dangerous and vicious. Today, I learned just how stupid politicians think we are and just how stupid I know they are .......
Terri Butler If she shut up I might like her Labor MP, Gay Marriage We're having a national survey here for everyone on the electoral roll to have their optional say in the matter , a simple yes or no answer. Ballots will be posted to households, you then vote and post it back .... seems simple ..... But not according to her, she says there are a lot of younger people here between 18 and 25 who have never had to post an envelope. Did I mention she was against having a national survey. I'll look at it real damn simple, If someone of voting age cannot figure out how to post an envelope ..... then they shouldn't be voting on anything if they are that damn stupid I know my parents never sent me to "How to post an envelope" class. But that's just how stupid politicians think we are and just how gullible some members of the public are that might actually buy that stupid comment

I see where an Australian capitalist has tried to sell their gay marriage plebiscite ballot
on ebay WTF? Why would anyone buy it? As it stands we could all vote and it goes yes or no and the politicians still vote by their conscience or abstain Waste of time and money (122million to be exact) The real reason they are doing it this way is so they dont get a backlash at the polls Politcally correct snouts in the trough Politicians who really only ever care about 3 things Getting elected , getting re-elected , their very generous superannuation for life which only requires 8 years of service and can be taken at age 35 i kid you not. Well we in NZ have had our 27 million new flag referendum in 2015-16-you guys across the ditch are having your 2017 gay marriage one.....considering the relative difference in size and population, I'd say your one is about pro rata for cost....ours ended up retaining the status quo at 56% support-which rather begs the question of why was it necessary in the first place? Ans: because PM John Key wanted it-and no other reason!
Who knows what your result will be...and whether the result will be honored-after all we now live in an era where, having had a fair and democratic process on anything, if you don't like the result, you are entitled-in fact OBLIGATED-to go out and protest ad nauseam-and as violently as you like until you get your way, apparently.... |

As I seem to recall, the Russians/Soviets weren't exactly keen on the Jews either.

USSR was not really anti Semitic
Quote:
Stalin probably was anti-Semitic, but Lenin sure wasn't. Trotsky was Jewish. During years even Stalin was surrounded by Jewish Bolshevik "friends", but he slowly killed almost all of them, apart Lazar Kaganovitch, who was Jewish and contributed to starve to death from 2,6 to 5 millions Ukrainians between 1932~1933. Now we all know that Stalin was a paranoiac murderer, but he sometimes was helped by Jewish "friends". There always were Jews in the USSR society. Look at Garry Kasparov, his father was Jews. |

The bastards who, taking advantage of the storm in Florida, are looting. They are a disgrace to humanity.
