We always learned that Nazis wanted to exterminate Jews, but anti-communist propaganda often forgot to mention that Nazis wanted to exterminate Slavs (described as Untermensch) too. Poland and Russia were devastated by Nazis.

I'm glad not to be born as male in the 1910~1919 in Germany or in Japan.
As a lot of young men, I couldn't have quit my country or probably have served crazy dictators in fights in which I'd not have wanted to risk my life.

I don't believe that ALL the Germans or Japanese soldiers were monsters.
A lot of Kamikazes were drunk before to commit suicide. All lot of Germans soldiers were drunk and depressed when they had to kill hundreds of civilian Slavs everyday.
If there are people we do not have to trust, that's the professional warlords.
They wrote rules to push the soldiers to follow their orders and if they don't, to be killed by the bullet of one of his compatriot.

Gay Marriage We're having a national survey here for everyone on the electoral roll to have their optional say in the matter , a simple yes or no answer. Ballots will be posted to households, you then vote and post it back .... seems simple ..... But not according to her, she says there are a lot of younger people here between 18 and 25 who have never had to post an envelope. Did I mention she was against having a national survey.

I'll look at it real damn simple, If someone of voting age cannot figure out how to post an envelope ..... then they shouldn't be voting on anything if they are that damn stupid

Well we in NZ have had our 27 million new flag referendum in 2015-16-you guys across the ditch are having your 2017 gay marriage one.....considering the relative difference in size and population, I'd say your one is about pro rata for cost....ours ended up retaining the status quo at 56% support-which rather begs the question of why was it necessary in the first place? I think you'll find that the pogroms predate the Russian Revolution by half a century or more and this was no less than ethnic cleansing which picked up momentum after 1917.
