red bull tastes like shite cough medicine. urgh never got it.

(unlike the good cough medicine which was urgh a bit less)

In the '90s vodka and Redbull was very popular. I admit I drank it, by the bottle.

I once ate dried seaweed in Japan. Came in a bag like a packet of crisps.

Tasted like bitter cellophane.

I could not wait to get it off my tongue but it stuck like tape. Fortunately I was in a spot where I could spit it out.

Now I generally like Japanese cuisine, but they've got some odd conceptions, including raw fish and hot wine...

In Ireland we eat dried seaweed called dulse. Very salty and tasty. Seaweed can be used in lots of dishes.

Years ago, David Letterman had a guest who brought foods from all over the world and Dave tried them. One of the foods was the latest craze from Japan: chocolate covered pearl onions. After a couple of seconds, Dave leaned over and audibly spit out the onion. He stood up and with a big smile on his face and said, "Boy, that's tasty!"

Soy Milk

My Missus has that with her cereal, I've never had it till this morning, she went too work, I got up late and there was no real 100% full fat cow milk left. Was a bit lazy too go too the store and get some, so I made a coffee with that...... One taste and in the sink it went.......felt sorry for the sink

I have eaten and drunk many things over the years (including everything in this thread) and the only items I had a problem with were Soy Milk and energy drinks (Red Bull, 5 Hour Energy, etc...). Nothing else has given me a problem. Every energy drink I have sampled tastes like crap to me. And the soy milk tastes like liquid chalk. Even the flavored ones. However I have many friends and family members that love it. I have no problem with soy or soy products and have eaten them for years. I do admit that like fermented shark the stinky tofu required a great effort of will to get past the smell but didn't taste bad.

There was also a cheese I had once from Norway. I can't remember what it was and I haven't seen it for years but it was like trying to eat the erasers off a bunch of #2 pencils.
