In case anyone is interested, I've just started a 2018 Mystery Box. As I caused a bit of confusion with the 2017 MB, I'll attempt to move posts chronologically where possible. This will mean the box will fill up considerably slower so please bear with me. Thanks all.

Curious why 2017's Box swelled from 70-odd pages to more than 90 since last week.

The time I have available to spend here has been limited so DN has been helping me with the daily tasks as well as keeping the Mystery Boxes organized so please bear with him, indeed.

He's doing a great job but we still need more help so I ask again if anyone feels he could contribute as a Moderator in this section just send me a PM and we'll discuss it. Thanks.

Thanks Immy. I've been having a purge on the back end clearing up the back log as I didn't want to start the 2018 MB until most of the 2017 stuff was boxed. It shouldn't get much bigger now although no doubt there will still be some requests prior to 2018 that will need boxing.

Here I requested that the material related to Aedina | Bobby Ross @TLI be split back off, i.e. it was agreed she was not Kelly Brier, & we didn't need the thread as a PMT for KB as she already had a thread outside mir.

I'm sorry to report Dick Needle has decided to step down as a Moderator. He was doing a great job here and his contribution will be missed and I hope he will continue to contribute as a member.

Of course his absence leaves us severely understaffed so you know what to do.

As long as Pepper II is the only Mod serving this section, restoring a limit of 3 requests per day is not remotely possible. To handle that volume of requests, we probably need 3 Mods; 2 working the daily requests, and one working the Mystery Boxes (and all the background housekeeping duties).

If there are Members who have benefited from having their ID Requests solved over the years, now would be a good time to send a PM to Pepper II volunteering to "give back" for a few months.
